Hardy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Menace lands with a straight right. Hardy didn't see that one coming.#CL2# Hardy gets a clinch. #BC# Menace breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hardy tries to clinch but Menace is having none of it. Hardy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Menace feints and then cracks Hardy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hardy down. Menace looks to land a combination but Hardy avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hardy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Menace moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Lil Nog lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hardy or not. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Lil Nog lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from Lil Nog. #ROC2# Hardy is rocked! Good body shot from Lil Nog.
Oh Hardy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hardy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. #R1# Secoy works Sismey's body with a nice hook.#TD# Sismey shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Secoy is trying to defend but Sismey finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sismey working over Secoy with some ground and pound. Secoy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Sismey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Secoy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sismey scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sismey takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Secoy is trying to control but Sismey passes into side control!
#SUB# Sismey is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Secoy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sismey is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. #T1# Sismey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sismey working the ground and pound from side control. Sismey cracks Secoy with an elbow. That is naaassty. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sismey working the head with strikes. Secoy is trying to escape the position but Sismey is controlling the position. Secoy pushes Sismey away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sismey gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Sismey staying calm.#SUB# Sismey has an Americana. Secoy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sismey is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sismey hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
