#R1##TD# Woodward scores with a takedown into Soendergaard's guard.#ES2# Soendergaard is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Woodward presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Soendergaard.#TD# Woodward ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Woodward no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #SUB# Woodward is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Soendergaard defends well. Soendergaard wants to control from the top but Woodward keeps moving. Woodward will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
#SU2# Soendergaard decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #T1# Woodward fails with a takedown attempt. Woodward shoots for a takedown but Soendergaard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Woodward takes a kick to the side of the head. Soendergaard throws a head kick that Woodward semi-blocks.
#ROC2# Woodward is rocked!#TD2# Soendergaard shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Woodward napping and manages to drive through into side control! Oh Woodward is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Soendergaard misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
#SUB2# Soendergaard goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Woodward has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Soendergaard but great work by Woodward. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#ES2# Soendergaard sneaks out the side door and pushes Woodward away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Woodward looks up at the clock. Bad move! Soendergaard lands a right hand from hell, dropping Woodward. Soendergaard pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
