Compton lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. #BC2# Vovchanchyn breaks the clinch.
Vovchanchyn throws a lazy head kick #TD# and Compton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Compton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Vovchanchyn's guard. Vovchanchyn will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Vovchanchyn wants to sweep here but Compton controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vovchanchyn is pulling down on Compton's head. It's preventing any offense from Compton, at least for the moment. Compton throws a big elbow that misses. #T1# Compton throwing strikes but missing. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Compton is defended easily by Vovchanchyn. Compton is looking to clinch but Vovchanchyn is avoiding it.
Vovchanchyn is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.#TD2# Vovchanchyn shoots in and bounces Compton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.#SUB# Vovchanchyn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
#SUB# Vovchanchyn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Compton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vovchanchyn has managed to get both his arms back between Compton's legs - danger averted.#SUB# Compton working for a triangle but Vovchanchyn defends it easily.
#T2# Compton wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Compton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB# Compton is looking to cinch up a triangle. Vovchanchyn throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Compton's body to avoid the submission. Compton has instead reached around Vovchanchyn's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Compton arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
