CC shoots in looking for a takedown but Bonifacio manages to keep the fight standing, pushing CC's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Bonifacio cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bonifacio leaves CC with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for AA CC. That's going to take a lot out of him.
CC tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bonifacio defends well and CC ends up having to push Bonifacio into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
CC will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

CC leaves his chin hanging out and Bonifacio seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! CC crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
