We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murray defending against the ground and pound. Murray struggling a bit here. That was a close second round but I would say that Van Murray will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. #R1# Mcconnell tries to close the distance and clinch but Hegg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mcconnell wants to clinch up but Hegg keeps it at a distance. Mcconnell moves out of range of the body kick from Hegg.

Hegg feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mcconnell's calf. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mcconnell has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Edwards after a bit of a struggle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short uppercut from Edwards. Edwards gets through Mcconnell's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Edwards lands a shot to the body. Edwards tries to throw a body punch but Mcconnell avoids it by throwing Edwards back against the cage. Mcconnell is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Mcconnell really is a fat lump. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hermano connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mcconnell some visible discomfort.

Tybura is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tybura throws a sloppy head kick and Petty moves out of range easily.
