#TD# Kotkaniemi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Korotkov sprawls well initially but Kotkaniemi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kotkaniemi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Korotkov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kotkaniemi working over Korotkov with some ground and pound. Korotkov looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Korotkov tries to get to full guard but Kotkaniemi has control of the leg. Kotkaniemi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kotkaniemi looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kotkaniemi lands strikes from half guard. Korotkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kotkaniemi. #R1# Saquirabo tries to clinch but McSulley is having none of it. McSulley cracks Saquirabo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. McSulley scores with a head kick. Saquirabo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.#CUT# It looks like Paul Saquirabo has been cut. McSulley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McSulley tests Saquirabo's chin there with a solid looking shot. McSulley throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
McSulley catches Saquirabo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!#TD2# McSulley gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Saquirabo to score an easy takedown into full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saquirabo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Saquirabo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McSulley swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T1##SUB2# Saquirabo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. McSulley wants to stand and escape but Saquirabo is having none of it. McSulley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saquirabo on the ground.#SUB2# Saquirabo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Saquirabo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Saquirabo is pushing down on McSulley's leg trying to pass to half guard. McSulley is fighting to maintain full guard but Saquirabo has managed to sneak the leg through. McSulley tries to kick Saquirabo off but Saquirabo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. #SUB2# Saquirabo is looking for a kimura but McSulley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Saquirabo to get the leverage. Saquirabo uses his free foot to push down on McSulley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McSulley. Saquirabo won't let McSulley get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. #T3# Saquirabo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. McSulley can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
#SUB2# Saquirabo is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Saquirabo extends the arm and McSulley is forced to tap!

#R1##TD# Ferrera feints and as Gregory raises his hands in defense, Ferrera changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Gregory is looking to stand back up but Ferrera counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gregory. #REVB# Ferrera not doing much here.
Ferrera's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Ferrera decides to return to a standing position. #T1# The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ferrera checks a leg kick. #TD# Ferrera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Gregory is looking to escape. Ferrera looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ferrera seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Gregory is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ferrera is taking a breather. Gregory says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#SUB# Ferrera is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gregory is just riding it out for now. Ferrera eventually gives up the hold. #T2# Gregory is trying to escape back to his feet but Ferrera uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Fabrice Hent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Hent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hent passes into side control, despite Carr's attempt to control the position.
Carr tries to improve position but can't. #SUB2# Hent goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Carr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control!
