Michaels changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A punch combination from Morris misses. A swing and a miss from Morris.#TD# Michaels shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Morris's guard. Michaels is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Morris is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michaels showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Morris wants to stand but Michaels is controlling the position. #T1# Michaels controlling from the top position. #R1# Peschi is looking to clinch. Gunnar feinted with a counter takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Peschi. Peschi tries to clinch but Gunnar moves out of range. Peschi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gunnar. Gunnar dives in for a single leg takedown but Peschi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Peschi tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD# and Gunnar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Peschi won't be happy with that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Peschi takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Gunnar creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Peschi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peschi is pushing Gunnar's head away, looking to escape. Gunnar manages to hold on to the position though. Peschi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Peschi is not content to let Gunnar control the position. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Toa walks away with a smile on his face. Wright gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Wright closes the distance and clinches up with Toa, looking for a takedown. Wright pushes Toa against the cage but Toa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Toa appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Toa throws a series of strikes that have Wright backpedaling.

Michaels content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bridges avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Michaels. Bridges is holding on to half guard well. Still in half guard, Michaels seems content to control. Bridges might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
