#R1##CL2# Owi clinches. Owi tries to throw a body punch but Mcguire avoids it by throwing Owi back against the cage. Owi leaning his opponent against the cage. Owi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Owi lands with a short shot to the head. #CUT2# It looks like Ward Mcguire has been cut. Owi pushes off an throws an elbow but Mcguire leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Owi misses with some punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Owi lands a shot to the body. Owi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Mcguire blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A battle for position here, against the cage.#TD# Mcguire turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mcguire manages to end up in side control.#T1# Owi defending against the ground and pound. Owi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Mcguire looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Owi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mcguire. Owi is trying to maintain the position but Mcguire is very close to passing his half guard. You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mcguire in particular looking to stall. Mcguire has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Owi trying to get back to full guard but Mcguire takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mcguire cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Owi tries to get back to half guard but can't. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. A nice elbow there by Mcguire. Mcguire really is built like a bowling ball. That was a close round but I would say that Ward Mcguire will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ward Mcguire's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Mcguire checks the leg kick nicely there.

letting Vazquez counter with a right hand. Vazquez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Vazquez tries to counter with a takedown but Cauchy is quick to defend against it. Cauchy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vazquez was well out of range. Poor timing from Cauchy. Cauchy misses with a right hand and Vazquez counters with a nice uppercut. Cauchy throws a big shot that misses. Vazquez lands a jab to the nose. Cauchy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cauchy misses with a looping right. Vazquez scores with a jab. Cauchy acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Cauchy swings widly with a right hand
and Vazquez counters with a nice uppercut. Vazquez throws a hook to the side of Cauchy's head but Cauchy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vazquez leaves Cauchy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cauchy misses with a left hand enabling Vazquez to counter with a crisp jab. Vazquez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cauchy doesn't seem bothered though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cauchy.#T1# Vazquez misses with a head kick.
