and Diaz counters with an outside leg kick.
Reis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diaz scores with a sloppy right hand. Reis should have avoided that one.
Diaz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Reis defends well and Diaz ends up having to push Reis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Diaz throws a lazy head kick
and Reis counters with a big head kick but Diaz shrugs it off. #TD2#
Diaz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Diaz is striking well from the back but Reis escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
