Event Review: Dynasty 57: Stone vs Wiki
Dynasty K-1:Tokyo
2012-01-22, Tokyo, Hard Knocks - Tokyo
Attendance:3,000, Event Rating:163
Author:Xavier Zane

Hello everyone, I'm Mike Fletcher and I'll be writing reviews for Dynasty Events for the foreseeable future so let’s get to it. Dynasty 57 went down Jan 22 at Hard Knocks Arena in front of 3000 screaming fans. The Event Rating for the event was 163.17. Here's what happened;

The opening bout of the evening featured Bee Killah (1-1) taking on Hiro Myag i (0-0) @Super heavy weight. Both fighters have a solid chin so it should be a gooder! Myagi started the fight determined to get into a clinch so he could unleash those dangerous knees of his but when he got there he couldn't land anything and ended up cut from an elbow by Killah finally after some back and forth Myagi landed a vicious knee to the head cutting Killah, Myagi was looking gassed about a minute in. The fight lasted another minute with Killah defending everything Myagi threw at him and picking his spots to land some devastating elbows of his own, opening the cut bigger and bigger. At 2:14 of

Breaking news from Helsinki ...

Editorial by Paul Dengel

MKFC contracted heavyweight Alexy Rykov (16-5) called a press conference from his Helsinki training camp this afternoon. A small crowd gathered at the Strikefirst Gym to meet with the veteran fighter just 4 days out from his bout with Mario Betoli (36-12). Once everyone had taken a seat, Rykov, glistening with sweat and surrounded by training partners from Team xXx took the center of the ring and grabbed a microphone.

“Hey guys, thanks for coming.” He began to the perplexed looks from all in the room. “I just wanted to tell everyone now that this Friday’s fight on the McBraddish vs Koltun PPV will be my last appearance for the MKFC.”

After some murmuring and some attempts to interrupt, Rykov raised his own hand and continued, “Let me explain guys, calm down. Look at my record there, I have beaten everyone they have put in front of me, losing to Nikkari when he was streaking for the title and then my three attempts at Paco. I can say that I have fought the best in St Petersburg and only been defeated by champions, how many fighters can say that.”

He looked around the room and smiled. “Guy’s I am not retiring, I still have a ton more fight in me. I am definitely not done knocking guys out as you will see when I put Betoli on his ass on Friday. I

Immortals Descend on New York

, Fight Organization,
Company profile by Brunno Falcone

Immortals Descend on New York

The newest fight organization to hit the Big Apple is here! Immortals New York. They have risen, like a phoenix, from the ashes of the, now defunct, Virtual Fighting Championships fight organization. Rumors continue to swirl around concerning the whereabouts of the VFC owner and founder Kimmy McRiddle, who has not been seen since Christmas Eve. The most reliable information claims that he is having numerous medical issues that prevent him from performing his duties with the org or managing his stable of fighters.

However, the Immortals have been born out of this chaos. Peel Steel formed the new organization and began immediately recruiting the VFC fighters that had either activated their inactivity clauses or been given early releases from their contracts by the recruiting manager within the VFC. The Immortals mission statement is to carry on with the legacy of VFC. Fair fights, fair pay. It recruits only fight

London's Brawling

Editorial by Bricktop McKenzie

London’s Brawling

Firstly let me apologise for the lack of London’s Brawling in last weeks Tycoon Times, some thing called really life intervened and I just didn’t get the time. The unhappy editors at Tycoon Times stepped in to make sure it didn’t happen again and as such, I am writing this week’s edition while a large man, who has identified himself only as Frank, watches. He tells me that he just wants to make sure I’m not distracted by anything that might stop me from hitting this week’s deadline. The deadline isn’t the only thing getting hit this week as the postman found out when he tried to deliver this mornings mail. Apparently post might be a distraction, according to Frank.

Apart from all you readers the other person who lost out last week was Tom Breedon, owner of Prestige Fighting Alliance. PFA topped the org charts last week but didn’t get the usual mention for the top org. Sadly this week they’ve slipped down to 6th.

The big news coming out of London this week was the confirmation that Troid were closing their doors. The former UK number 1 had been very quiet as of late leading to speculation that it may be closing. This week it did with owner Craig Brophy e-mailing all managers to apologise and confirm that real life commitments meant he was having to step away from the game. I’ll be taking a look back over some of Troid’s top moments in the near future.

With Troid closing the market was flooded with top quality fighters looking for a new home. Hopefully most will stay in London. With all this talent around it gives a real opportunity for some of the orgs looking to make a name for themselves to sign some name fighters that might otherwise have been out of their reach. Hopefully it should make for exciting times ahead.

A slight change in format this week, with all the changes in org rankings I’ve decided to do a top ten. Each week I’ll be listing the top ten orgs in London and letting you know what’s

Everything You Need To Know About Clothing!

Editorial by David Goliath

This is David Goliath once again, although on a more serious note this time around. Today I have no smart-assery, or silly one-liners to unleash upon the unsuspecting, media-consuming masses, nope. Today I am here to help those of you who are in the clothing business.

In the past, my business tips have helped completely change the game for some clothing owners, and forever change a "set in stone" global top ten list. Although I may be guilty of overstating the influence I have had on an average manager's common knowledge, I can say that I have advised companies in the past that have incorporated my suggestions, and suddenly skyrocketed into the global clothing scene. I myself was once a noob clothing owner, and novice photoshopper... After collecting information about the system we all use, I quickly grew into the number one global clothing store for 4 straight months. It's not that I am any better than any other clothing owner either... There are guidelines I followed and with a little time and effort, anyone can master the clothing industry just the same.

I would like to give to the public a detailed strategy for success in the clothing industry. These are not just simple tips, or a tutorial on selling clothes...This is the holy grail of ancient clothing proverbs from the edges of the Tycooniverse. This will be a reference guide to all levels of clothing owner from first day empty shop owners, to global players, this will cover everything you need to know in the short and long term to comprehend the clothing system, and master it.

Hype. Hype, among other variables, determines your store's ranking. More hype = higher citywi

TTFC Cook Vs Tatov Preview

Event Preview: TTFC Cook Vs Tatov
Team Thomas Fight Club
2012-02-04, New York, Hard Knocks - New York
Author:Mike Thomas

I've got a lot of respect for Chael Sonnen, he has done well for a guy who failed kindergarten.

He failed kindergarten?

Yeah, the poor guy still doesn't know what a triangle is.

Saturday night, fight night.

Bantamweight: Raje Malapitan (5-5) vs Texas Trash (12-6)

Raje Malapitan tests his useful submission game against the hard hitting Texas Trash. Malapitan fights seem to always end painfully with him coaxing the tap or hitting the deck unconcious and that makes him a popular fighter on the TTFC undercards. His opponent is the dangerous Trash who will want to show off the striking skills that have earnt him 8 TKO wins and banish the memories of his TTFC debut when he was beatdown by Castaneda Krishnanuevo. Having gone 4-6 in his last 10 Texas Trash will be looking to piece together the kind of run that saw him start his career with a stellar 8-0. Looking at their records and their skillsets Trash has to be the favourite here. Malapitan has only ever lossed by TKO and Trash has the jab-centric boxing game to set up the big finish punch.

Prediction: Texas Trash by early KO.

Heavyweight: Ilya Murometz (6-4) vs Chris Leben (6-6)

Russian all rounder Ilya Murometz has made a solid start to his TTFC career with impressive finishes of Chris Carwin and compatriot Kirill Kolushev. Known for his fast hands Murometz showed off his ground game in defeating Chris Carwin at TTFC Maddox vs Slick by first round rear naked choke. If the Russian is wise he will look to make it two straight submission wins and avoid the heavy hands of Chris Leben. Leben isn't pretty and he isn't technical but when he connects flush, the lights go out more often than not. Murometz is no slouch standing himself with 4 TKO wins and his speed may match that of Leben but why take the risk against a guy who's number you have on the mat?cont...

Syn Euro preview- Unlawful Force

Event Preview: Syn Euro: Unlawful Force
Synchronicity Europe
2012-02-04, Helsinki, Malmi Sportshall
Author:

Brought to you by Adams Northern Wild and Syn Euro Betting

John Franklin v Luciano Torrentini - The main card begins with a super heavyweight match up between two of the better rounded SHWs in the division. Franklin has quite a cult following in Helsinki. He has won them over with some highlight reel subs from the arm lock specialist. Franklin is hoping for a better showing than his first round defeat to The Hulk in his Syn Euro debut. He may look to use his decided MT advantage to win this fight. Luciano comes in on the heels of his first two career losses, and is hoping to return to the high hopes many expert had for him in the Syn Euro division after he beat The Hulk in his first fight in the org. Luciano can win the fight by any means necessary. Look for this to be a very technical fight,
