Noob Week - By A. Noob Everyone, even the most accomplished MMA Tycoon manager, have been through ‘Noob week’. A managers first week within the game. For many managers this week will have faded into distant memory, for others it may be fresh in mind.
I recently spent the time to discuss the game with one of its newest managers, DJ Parko, a new manager who has just completed his own ‘Noob week’.
DJ began encouragingly, creating his first four fighters who all instantly participated in the QFC, all with success. As I am sure is the pathway taken by many o’ Noob each week.
This was but the first test, next was the challenge of finding more suitable gyms for the fighters, but how to achieve this with the limited funds of a new manager? cont... |

Q: Dear martial arts fans today I will pay a visit to Mick Shaw. Mick made his debut a while back, he completely dominated the fight and finished it in a minute and a half in the first round. But that's not even the most interesting thing about him. After the fight he released a story about why he wanted to be a fighter and that story was good enough to get published in the highly respected Tycoon Times. Mick, why did you decide to release this story?
Mick: Simply put, I thought it was a story worth telling so I told it. I'm basically training all day long but I do occasionally take a break and during one of those breaks I thought it would be nice to write it all down so everyone who's interested can read it.
Q: You were inspired to become a fighter after seeing that boxing match, why didn't you become a boxer instead of a mixed martial artist?
