The Story behind the Scandal that Rocked Tycoon Location: Manhattan. 4 Months ago…. A small insignificant café, the proprietors and staff busy serving pastries to the office jocks.
Tucked away in a corner are 3 males, a tall slim fair haired man in a black suit. With him are two delicately built white males both wearing identical chinos and polar neck shirts with St Christopher chains draped round their necks.
The only differentiating feature is the colour of the po cont... |

BEFORE
The UPF opened its doors, having their first event, way back on 12 September 2012.
UPF 1: Hawaii'an Meltdown was a sold out show at the Micro Arena and received an event rating of 64.09. Fight of the Night and Sub of the Night went to Tony "Toy" Brown who went on to become the first and most dominant champion in UPF history thus far.
The UPF continued to run events all the way up until 30 November 2013 when UPF-H 58: took place at The Pipeline arena in front of 5,127 fans. The event only received a rating of 179.47, which is not too bad. But, at that time the UPF was on a downward spiral.
At the high point in its earlier career The UPF managed to reach an event rating of 329.23 at UPF-H PPV 3: Vegh Vs Mir. The event took place in front of an almost sold out crowd an Hula's Arena and sold 13,024 PPV sales as well.
NOW The UPF is now re-opening its cont... |

Jayjay: Conor thanks for setting down with me today i know you have a big fight coming up in 2 days so i wont take up too much of your time .
Conor: Yup, no problem.
Jayjay: you come from a kick boxing back ground what made you come to mma?
Conor: A lack of renowned kickboxing orgs to compete in, besides the gym I train at is an MMA gym, I saw the guys training for MMA there and kicked their ass. So I transitioned over. To be fair, I did sign to a KT org early in my career but, that org crumbled quickly and I never got a fight.
Jayjay: You fight in the world combat championship in newyork what made you pick W/C ?and how are they treating you so far?
Conor: I looked around for competiion, havoc is close to home but I have a friend and training partner John Granger up the rankings in my division. So I looked elsewhere and saw World Combat, they paid well and it's fun here. The owner is a good guy.
Jayjay: In just 2 days you fight Derrick Jon at WC: Dirty Boxing 2 how do you see that fight playing out ?
Conor: Well, I will punch him, kick him, if he chooses to clinch, I will elbow and knee him and then he will break and I will ge cont... |

Welcome to the first edition of Contender Spotlight! I am M. Maestro doing an one on one interview with #2 ranked heavyweight, Clinton “Baked Fish” Offley. He is pretty much one of the best fighters in World Combat and he is here to answer some of our questions!
Maestro: To start off, what is a normal day for Clinton Offley?
Offley: To start off I get a good breakfast with many proteins and shit, like coffee and brownies, or brownies and coffee. To follow that up I hit the gym and train hard and then I relax listening to Marley and smoking wee... not doing anything illegal in the state of New York for sure.
Maestro: You are now being managed by Max Bennet and so far so good. Did anything change in the management style/training/etc.? Or business as usual?
Offley: Yes! My previous manager was really good but he was very strict. Mister Bennet' cont... |

Blade Runner vs Ronny Fosse
The man who finishes everyone who stands in his way - Blade Runner will try to keep his belt against an undefeated wrestler Ronny Fosse. The heavier and taller American mixed martial artist Blade Runner has spent less than 12 minutes in his 8 professional MMA fights! The experience is also in Runner's favor, therefore the Brazilian Ronny Fosse will have to bring his best gameplan to this fight if he wants to win.

Colt McLaren vs Ron Burgundy
Two experienced fighters will face eachother. Burgundy is 8 years older so this is probably one of his last fights. He's been unlucky in his last 2 fights losing by very close decisions. Colt McLaren on the other hand is on a tear right now! He's won last 4 of his fights and all of them we're awarded with an of the cont... |
On June 13 the Jamaican born ‘One Love’ will face Brian Pillman at GKNY 9. For some it will be just another fight, another opportunity to prove themselves worthy with GAMMA Kids and potentially push for the illustrious heights of the GAMMA pyramid. For one in particular it will be the last time he steps inside a MMA cage, at least, for the immediate future.
I caught word Clark Still was thinking of departing GKNY for newer opportunities, and when I spoke with the 19 year old undefeated #3 ranked GKNY featherweight contender after a training session at Thirteenth Legion MMA, he assured me it wasn’t for a better MMA setup outside of GAMMA.
"Greener pastures...no, no I dont think the grass is greener on the other side, but new opportunities are there for sure.” Clark Still is moving on for one reason, and it’s to find out if he can rise to that illusive greatness all fighters are striving for. The difference here, he’s looking outside the cage.
“The reasons quite simple I think I can be a KT champion. Which is more appealing to me then MMA, I like the stand-up game more, and I dont have a lot of talent for BJJ, so me and my manager worked out this strategy we're going to move forward with, for good or for bad.”
One Love believes himself to be of a certain calibre. He believes he’s destined for greatness, and from what cont... |
