Alvarez: I'm feeling awesome. I came in, did my job and finished the fight, so I'm happy. I made my coaches proud and that's big for me.

Interviewer: What can you say about your opponent?

Alvarez: Nothing much... He's as much of a fighter as I am, it's just that I exposed his holes tonight, but he had the tools to expose my holes as well. Who Cares! The Leftovers Preview #4

Event Preview: Who Cares?
The Leftovers
2015-06-14, The Island, Wild Bob's Bar - The Island
Author:The Dictator

Tomorrow we have 9 fights which includes 2 titles fights! But Who Cares? It's the Island and no one is watching anyway.

#1 Roscoe Jenkins Tyson Olssen

Roscoe got KOed on his first fight by failing to stand and bang with his opponent and got completely dominated on the ground. Tyson is a newcomer who likes to spam takedowns but on his only fight he tried 23 and failed them all. Maybe this is Jenkins's lucky break.

#2 Ryo Takeshi Raja Barat

Takeshi has been forsaken and after 3 straight losses he comes to this fight with no manager. This can't be good for him. Raja, from Indonesia, won his Leftovers debut fight and I think he'll KO Ryo easily here.

#3 Danny Charles Shaw Loman

Both these guys are apparentely coming already gassed to the fight. Wow, this will be a long one... Danny won his first here by decision and Shaw has also only 1 fight to show and it's a loss.

#4 Jonathan Bendstone Quill Styles

Talk About Efficiency

Fighter profile of King Wong by Dale Saw

#King Wong - #3-0 - #The Island - #Pride KT - ##1 KT fighter on The Island

King Wong has put up very impressive numbers. Here are his stats to date:

In the stand up game his opponents combined could only connect 5 times out of an attempted 22 shots. That means that thus far King Wong has successfully blocked or evaded 77.3% of all attacks in the stand up game. Not too shabby.

When it comes to the clinch its pretty close to the same. With a combined 139 attacks, only 37 connected. Now once again that's pretty impressive. Wong's defense prevailed 73.4% of the time while in the clinch.

So in total King Wong's opponents only landed 42 out of 161 thrown shots. Giving King Wong's defense an even 74% success rate.

Now if we look on the other end. Wong was able to land 45 out of 54 combined shots thrown in the stand up game. Clearly dominating his opponents at a distance with a 83.3% attack success rate.

Phil Hellmuth Jr Interview

Fighter profile of Phil Hellmuth Jr by Callum McGregor

Interviewed by Jim What.

What: It was a fantastic performance which led to Phill Hellmuth Jr picking up a TKO victory over Archie MacDuff at HC 1. Phil, do you feel that you successfully implemented your gameplan in the match up?

Hellmuth Jr: First of all I want to let everyone know - I'm the best poker player fighter in the world! Answering your question - everything went just as I excepted, although I took several unnecessary shots from that idiot from northern Europe

What: Is striking something you will focus on coming into your next fight then?

Hellmuth Jr: Definitely yes. Ground game is for pussies.

What: Are there any of your professional poker skills that can cross over into mixed martial arts?

Hellmuth Jr: Bluffing is very important in MMA too! They think I will cut them with my right elbow - BAM - I cut them with my left elbow!

What: Were the lads around at the poker weary of your martial arts training while trying to raise the stakes around the table?

Hellmuth Jr: Everyone knows I like MMA. I was a biggest fan of the Chuck Liddell, he is my inspiration.

What: So as an MMA fighter by day and a poker player by night,
