Following on from the fledgling organizations most successful card to date, RFC 7 gave us a bit of everything you could expect from a night of MMA action.
Devastating (T)KO’s, a slick submission, a slugfest and that most dreaded of all, a snoozefest. Still, one bad fight out of ten aint too bad. Here’s how the night went down.
Fight 1 – Alun Warburton (0-1-0) vs Mark Levy (1-0-0)
185lb
Two youngsters making their MMA debuts got the nights action underway. There was a little controversy before the fight as 16 year old Welsh kid, Alun Warburton failed to make the 185lb limit by 20lbs! the fight only went ahead after Polish sensation, Mark Levy agreed to take half of Warburtons purse in order for the fight to go ahead. Seemingly quite nonchalant about missing weight so badly, you got the impression Warburton maybe hadn’t taken his debut seriously enough
Supremely confident going into the fight, Levy taught Warburton a harsh lesson about not preparing properly for a fight. At the opening bell, Warburton walked straight into a Levy jab which he followed up with an overhand right which could be heard from the back of the arena. After sending Warburton crashing to the floor, Levy motioned him back to his feet. Still clearly wobbled, Warburton stood back up but seemed oblivious to the fact that Levy was winding up an uppercut that took him clean off of his feet when it connected. Louis "King" Capet is a former boxer from Montreal; just turned professional, he will do what is first step in MMA for the occasion. Carlos Ruiz "Mysterio" Zafon comes from Barcelona in Spain, he won his only fight by unanimous decision

Fight 2: 205 lbs Ray Seffu Chucky vs Jason
Ray Seffu we come from Copenhagen in Denmark, young fighters who recently joined HFL; it will make it's debut against Jason Chucky coming from Hamburg, Germany; Chucky lost on his debut in MMA following a bid!

 The face of MMA is changing in Rio de Janeiro with the opening of a brand new fight org, Rio Chain Gang. The Rio Chain Gang bunch are not only known for their expertise in the cage but also for their anitsocial behavior. This reporter is concerned for the good citizens of Rio with all the ex-convicts and general scoundrels coming into our fair city. How our city officials can allow this to happen escapes me.

 Seeing a need for another public gym in Hilo, the Island Warriors gym has opened its doors on the Big Island of Hawaii. Offering only ELITE coaches, this new gym promises to suit the needs of every fighter, and alleviate the lack of training concerns that many Hilo fighters faced. Conditioning trainer, Dallas Lane, is a world-reknowned fitness expert, and the star of his own line of videos. The gym also has added former IBF Cruiserweight Champion, Carl Shields, to help train its strikers.
Bright things are ahead for the city of Hilo, and Island Warriors is looking to be a big part of the city's revitalization. |

Ryan Genningsunit v Dominick Snooze – 135 lbs
Two wrestlers making their Slaughterhouse debut in this bantamweight matchup. Not too much is known about either fighter making this a hard one to predict. Genningsunit hails from New York and has made two career appearances so far, one win and one loss; Snooze is a Californian with an MMA record of one prior appearance – a submission win via kneebar. Both fighters are 25 years of age. The lack of tape to work with is a mixed blessing for both fighters; neither will know what to predict from the other and the winner of this bout may well be determined by who has the higher fight IQ and the ability to adapt as the matchup unfolds.  University of Hard Knocks Celebrates One Year in the Business UHK, Inc (3327)
aka the University of Hard Knocks, is celebrating a year in the gym business this week. Now a private gym based in Las Vegas, under private co-management, UHK has developed and made champions the world over.
It is currently the home gym for Death Squad MMA 155lb Champion Frankie "The Anger" Drake (15-2), who is coming off of his sixth successful title defense, and Sher Shah Suri (22-6), the EFFA Kickboxing Superheavyweight Champion, a fighter that has dominated the ranks of the organization.
To celebrate the sucess, UHK will be admitting two fighters. One will be a scholarship fighter, meaning the fighter must be managed by a new manager with 6 months or less of experience and will receive a discounted rate. We will also welcome any established manager to join subject to the full, public gym rate of $1,000 per week.
