There are some big things happening at KOTB this week, friends. Firstly, we’d like to announce that Max Octane is our new General Manager. He’ll be doing a number of things around the organization and will be a great asset for us. Secondly, we’re proud to be hosting our first ever arena show on Saturday night, as KOTB 21 will be held in Rio’s Flamengo Area. The card has a stacked lineup – with eight current and former title challengers – and is expected to set attendance and ticket revenue records for the promotion.
Benji "Funky" Assklown (4-1, 2-1) v Lucas "Samurai" Campos (3-1, 3-1)
Opening the main card is an intriguing matchup of future welterweight contenders, as Benji Assklown takes on Lucas Campos. Both fighters have very dangerous hands and have finished all of their fights on the feet, so expect this one to be over early. Campos has been quiet lately but had an unbelievable run in cont...

Ultimate Pit Fighting is based out of Hilo, HI. They have an ID restriction of 260K+. The UPF original opened it's doors in 2012 and had the first event on September 12th, 2012. The company ran until November 30th, 2013 with a fair amount of success, hosting 3 decent PPV events and one PPV flop. But, eventually they closed their doors (due to inactivity).
Now, over two years later, they are back in business and have been since May 30th, 2015. This time around everything is running smoothly (as expected). We are now 28 events in since our re-opening. And, I say things look good for the future of UPF. They already have their events booked upto UPF 40.
For the real new though, UPF has been nominated for org of the year 2015. This is a huge feature. Now, we are probably too small of an org to win it. But, that nomination is a step in the right direction. Congrats to the staff of UPF, but more importantly thank you to the fighters that made the nomination possible.< cont... |

In a pre dawn raid, INTERPOL's anti-crime task force working in cooperation with local authorities, stormed the Rio Chain Gang offices. Armed with a search warrant and two arrest warrants authorities took two of the org members into custody.
Jack Leonard was accused of masterminding a kidnapping for ransom scheme. Leonard is a heavyweight fighter that signed with the Chain Gang when it was first formed. Businessman Juan Castrano has identified Leonard as the kidnapper that was demanding 100,000 US dollars as ransom. Leonard has since confessed, and has had his MMA fighting license revoked. Alan Maynard, owner of the fight org said “I always liked Jack, I thought he was a good kid. I know he use to run a chihuahua dog fighting club but that was just for fun and he just got probation. He lost his license for life for this and will never be in a professional MMA fight again. I want to assure the public that this is just an isolated incident and the Chan Gang is working hard with local officials to keep the peace.”

Rio Chain Gang held their first event this Saturday and what a night it was. Over 2000 people showed up lining the streets trying to somehow get a ticket. The arena only has 1000 seats and scalpers were seen selling tickets for as much as 5000 dollars.
After a brief delay due to an incident in the parking lot, the fans were treated to a fireworks show followed by an incredible night of fights.
The night started out with a light heavyweight fight between a couple of very talented young fighters, Mike Lambert (1-0) took on Marcos Martinez in his MMA debut. Lambert proved to be too much for Martinez to handle in this one, Lambert feinted with a couple of takedown attempts to throw off his opponent and followed it up with massive right hand that dropped Martinez. After jumping into mount it only took a few shots to convince to ref to stop cont... |

Jay: Hey everybody, Jay here, welcome to Ray and Jay's Excellent MMA Adventures. Today on the show we will go over UPF 29: Wayne Vs. Angelov.
