Rio Chain Gang selects Jumbo Mambo as “Bad Boy” of the M

Rio Chain Gang 270+, Fight Organization, Rio de Janeiro
Company profile by Alan Maynard

Jumbo Mambo was selected as Rio Chain Gang's Bad Boy of the Month for January. Jumbo was 2-0 for the month, first defeating Paddy Mc Guiness and then defeating Elijah Parker to put him closer to a shot at the heavyweight title belt.

In RCG 4, Jumbo put a show on for his fans. With the bad blood between these two fighters, both came out swinging with Jumbo coming out on top. In a show of power he dropped Mc Guiness in under a minute as the crowd went wild.

In RCG 8 Jumbo again demonstrated why other fighters fear him. With his first shot he cut Parker badly, and like a shark smelling blood in the water Jumbo turned on the heat. Dropping parker twice in ten seconds Jumbo showed Parker no mercy. Parker showed he had a lot of heart pulling himself up off the canvas twice, before Jumbo hit him with an onsl

Rio Chain Gang 270+
2016-02-06, Rio de Janeiro, Hard Knocks - Rio
Author:Alan Maynard

Jay: Hello Rio De Janeiro, I'm Jay and this is my pops Ray. We're here in Rio on special assignment to tell you about Rio Chain Gang's duel events this weekend.
Ray: Thats right Jay, the Chain Gang will be taking over Rio this Saturday with events at both Hayashi's Lounge and the Hard Knocks arena. Both events will be sponsored by Chain Gang Bookie where you'll find the best odds.

Jay: First up is RCG 9: Stein vs Jenkinson; which will be taking place at the Hard Knocks arena. We have a lot to go over so why don't you get us started pops.
Ray: OK, we start off the undercard in the light heavyweight division. Jordan Golevkin and George Chuvalo will bang it out for three scheduled rounds. Both of these guys are trying to bounce back after losing their RCG debut. They are very evenly matched, but Jordan holds a slight edge if this one ends up on the ground. I could see this fight going either way, but to be honest I'm not sure that George has comple

GAMMA #532 Gunnar v Padilla Main card REVIEW - 1.16.2016

Yorick “The Last Man” Brown (31-15,12-7 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] VS “Quoth the Raven” Never More (17-8, 1-1 GAMMA) [Legion of Doom] Light Heavyweight (205)

Both of these veteran fighters came into this Light Heavyweight bout with their eyes on an impressive victory and moving up in a talented division.
As two stand-up specialists, going in, we had every right to anticipate that some blood would be shed in this match.
Gale Hawthorne’s “The Last Man”, a GAMMA stalwart, showed why he remains a factor in the world’s premier fight organization with an impressive K.O. victory over the man represented by fellow L.O.D. alliance counterpart Never More, managed by Nero Wolfe.

More never really got it going in this bout, as he was cut in the early seconds and was overall simply overwhelmed by Brown. A knockdown followed by a thunderous superman punch spelled victory for “The Last Man”. It was Brown’s second victory in a row by K.O., and we have to wonder wh

Steel Penn: Official Profile of the King of ICON Alliance

Editorial by Sliced Bread

ICON Profile:

This man really needs no introduction, the FOUNDER of the ICON Alliance and somebody who is already one of the most decorated managers in the history of the sport.

Steel Penn a true leader of men has earned many awards for his contributions to the sport not limited to his own fighters.  He has been very committed to Philanthropy as recognised when he won the yearly award in both 2013 and 2014, as well as awards for contributions to nutrition.

Steel’s Organisation – Steel Penn ICON, has also been ranked as no.1 in the city of Hilo and 15th in the world, impressive for a man who is also managing world champions. A true ambassador of Tycoon MMA, Steel Penn’s trophy cabinet would have been enough to sink the titanic on its own.

Steel Penn’s journey started successfully; but not necessarily spectacularly, as he s

Los Angeles Combat Association
2016-02-11, Los Angeles, The Underground - Los Angeles
Author:

Javorious Rollins (0-2,0-0) VS Ted T-FlySalazar (1-0,0-0), Bantamweight (135)

In the first fight in L.A.C.A. history, this battle of 135 pounders and relative newcomers to the sport proves to be an intriguing matchup with implications for the careers of the combatants as well as the division. Rollins is a young and raw,

although balanced fighter, local to the Los Angeles area, while Salazar, his Sacramento-native opponent, comes in to this matchup not only a little older, but a little more successful, with his only fight a victory by T.K.O. A loss by T-Fly to the younger Rollins could prove devastating, while a victory on the other side would establish Rollins as one of the names to watch in the future of this division.

OFFICIAL PREDICTION: Salazar def. Rollins via First Round TKO

Bob Blitz (2-2,0-0) VS Jorge Mighty Mando (0-2,0-0), Middleweight (185)

Another incredibly intriguing matchup, Bob
