Polite Efficient (4-0) Vs Skip Gordon (3-0) – Light Heavyweight Championship
In the first defence of his 205 belt, Skip Gordon faces challenger Polite Efficient in what essentially is a clinch battle to the death, okay that was a little bit dramatic. Skip Gordon is a member of The Island’s legendary Gordon clan, following in the footsteps of tournament winner Darby, tournament finalist Mel and former Highland Games title challenger Louis.
Polite Efficient is managed by Ivan Drago, who is expected to be still reeling, along with the rest of us, from the shocking loss that LightHeavy Weight encountered in Highland Games. With the camp being perhaps at an all time low after such a stunning loss, this might be Gordon’s time to establish some early dominance within the division, knocking off his biggest threat to date.

And usually on the show we would be going over the upcoming event but this week by popular demand we are reviewing this past weekends card. Which was an awesome night of fights, I'll tell ya. The event: UPF 39: Hapitchou Vs. McCarthy; the place: Hard Knocks Arena, Hilo HI; the features: 1 title fight, 2 top contenders match ups.
Ray: Yeah what a night it was, I had a great time. Of course, my good friend Jack Daniels could have had a part in that. There were 3000 screaming fans in attendance and among them, sitting ringside I noticed Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
Jay: Yeah, I think they were in town filming a scene or two from Bad Boys 5. Man don't think it can get any better than Bad Boys 4 though. Great movie. But I think we kinda got off base. So let get back to the task at hand. UP

Polite Efficient (4-0) Vs Skip Gordon (3-0) – Light Heavyweight Championship
This one went down exactly as anticipated. Gordon used his punches and kicks to set up the clinch and Polite was willing to let his opponent do all the work in closing the distance. Inside, both men were extremely active in trying to elbow each other, almost comically so. Gordon was mixing it up with punches to the head and body and those seemed to be catching Polite off guard a bit. In the end, Gordon was the more active of the two inside and was able to steal the rounds, cruising to a Unanimous Decision victory and successfully defending his belt.

Ken Roussow (2-0) Vs CeeTee Fletcher (1-0) – Lightweight
We got to see a big more of Fletcher’s game here and we saw that he has some solid skills at counter grappling and getting back to his feet. Despite being flat footed a few times, Fletcher was able to make sure Roussow was never mounting too much offence in the grappling, and when both men separated it was CeeTee who was able to work his great kickboxing skills to bank away the rounds. Company profile by The Hayashi's Lounge was the venue chosen for this one, was where 2000 roaring fans gathered to celebrate pain and brutality...peppered with hints off sublime and defined martial arts skill and moves that left the audience perplexed.
I don't know where JJ hires these card girls ,all i know is their hot and nasty, in one fight, one of the girls, between one of the rounds choose not to leave the cage and confronted one of the fighters in the match, with accusations of missing out payment on his child support for their 11 kids....
was definitely embarrassing,it was like a scene on Jeremy Kyle....all I could think was!....OHHH MY GOD....(she doesn't look like she has 11 kids.
