Q: Your former manager Jarmo Sisuu released you, but your career has flourished under Blake Phoenix. What has Blake done differently to make the difference?
A: Superior game plans.
Q: It seems Blake keeps you on a heavy dose of donuts and beer because your weight is around 300lbs. Do you think it gives you an advantage in the cage?
A: It's all muscle man - have you looked at my physique? Well, OK, ALMOST all muscle. I think my weight definitely gives me a power advantage. Having said that though, I'm going to drop just a few pounds so that I can cut to 265lbs. That way I can fight for that title as well as the 265+ title.
Q: You had massive success in the GAMMA: Contenders, also winning the title there and going on a 9 fight winning streak, you lost your last 2 fights though, what went wrong?
A: Actually I'm a 2 time GAMMA Contenders Champion, the first time being under my previous management. At Superheavywe cont...

July 4th is a night of celebration and one person celebrated in their own unique way this year. According to Vegas Metro, MMA fighter Neil Murray was arrested this 4th of July after instigating a fight at a Vegas Night Club. Neil Murray is managed by Jay Lawrence and fights for Umbrella Ascension of out Las Vegas. He has a career record of 12-7 and he's currently on a losing streak after suffering 3 losses in a row. It appears Neil has become restless and this last 4th of July he took his restlessness to the club.
According to Vegas Metro, Neil Murray entered a local Vegas Night Club and began pushing a random stranger. Vegas Metro reports Neil pushed a stranger (name not disclosed) a total of 5 times while yelling, "Punch me." According to the report, Neil and the victim did not know each other and had never met each other before; it appears Neil chose this person randomly.
We spoke to a witness, Cinnamon Buns, who was also attending the night club. Cinnamon stated "[Neil Murray] had a crazed look in his face and was pushing the other guy just demanding that he hit him". We asked Cinnamon why she thought Neil did this and she said, "I have no idea, I don't think they ever saw each other." Cinammon went on to describe the incident by telling us, cont... |

Bipolor Opposite, was the third fighter signed by fight manager Michio Kaku. What Bipolor may have lacked in overall fighting skills, he more than made up with his world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: although he was only a brown belt, training partners admitted he felt like a black belt on the mat. He didn't waste much time in training before he got into the fight scene and just 3 days after arriving in Las Vegas he took on his first fight in the QFC. With a 1st round submission by RNC his brown belt was on display as well as his inexperience in other area's of MMA.
He took on 2 more fights in the QFC winning by first round submissions in both before settling down and getting some training in and the overcrowded Cozad MMA Las Vegas gym. With no coaches really availabl cont... |

Starting From the Bottom Up
Prelim 1 He Mu vs William Richard Onghole @ 205lbs
Both 0-0 inexperienced Fighters with identical striking skills I look for this to be a show of Muay Thai with both of them specialising in it. Both are also base in Tokyo but from other lcoation so no hometown advantages here Mu is From Hong Kong while William is from Congo. It is a hard one to pick being so even I believe it might come down to the better manager or hidden attributes. Pick-He Mu-Managers slight experience advantage
Prelim 2 Enoch Thompson vs Mawzer VaraK cont... |

Brought to you by the writing team that has promoted cards for Trinity, Highland Games, Casino Fight Nights, and Isand Combat comes the Main Event Preview for Bravado Productions 1.
If you know anything about Hoarseplay Writing Productions, you know that we typically put the majority of our focus on the main event, although every fighter is given his time in the spot light as well. However, due to the length of a Hoarseplay main event, we submit only the main fight (sometimes the co-main event as well) to keep the overall product length within a reasonable margin.
So, with no further ado whatsoever, here is the preview:
(Middleweight Division) Adam Holt (4-1-1) versus Marcus Browne (8-2)
Originally from Spydeberg, Norway, Adam Holt was raised in an athletic family. With a professional boxer for a father, a Judo practitioner and gymnast for a mother, and two track stars for siblings, one would expect Adam to display a modicum of natural athletic ability as well. However, for Adam, such things cont... |

Opening Fight: (155lbs) Alex Cowell vs. Ahmed Salim
Alex and Ahmed will both be making their debut in AFC 12. Both fighters are 18 years old and currently 0-1-0. Alex is a balanced fighter whereas Ahmed is a stand up Muay Thai fighter.
Fight 2 (205lbs) Remy Vonchanchyn vs. Number One
If Remy can keep this fight on the feet he should take home the win here. Remy (19) has a professional record of 2-1, Number (18) has a professional record of 2-0. If number can take out Remy's legs he might get a submission, but either way one of these fighters will likely have a big future with AFC.

DFC: Mayhem 1.5 (15 July ‘16 – Bob’s Bar, Las Vegas) Preview and Predictions – Written by Gabe T.S. Gardner (112290)
DFC Mayhem 1.5 takes place on the same night as the inaugural edition of Mayhem as DFC takes over the MMA scene in Las Vegas holding two events on the same night in two separate venues, the second of which is from Bob’s Bar; showcasing some of the best talent in the state.
Fight 1
Erik Larson 1-0-0 vs Gurrr “Grraaa” Yahh 0-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 185lbs
Larson will want to build on his debut victory by taking Yahh out early here, but will have to be weary of the significant reach and striking advantage of his opponent.
While Yahh does have a significantly better chance if this fight is kept upright, I think Larsons BJJ skills and wrestling ability are way too good for Yahh to handle.
I predict Larson submits Yahh in the first cont... |

Booked by Mentor Guru Corleone
Written by Dan Pikeson
For our main event, two elite fighters of the lightweight division will be looking to come away with another victory under their belt. Hector Camacho is a seasoned veteran of the fight game. With nearly forty fights under his belt and over 30 victories, Camacho knows this game inside and out. Making his GAMMA debut on #567, he’ll be looking to battle it out against Oscar Boma, a veteran who has spent nearly half his career here at GAMMA, will be looking to score yet another knockout to add to his near 85% (T)KO percentage. Boma, the current lightweight champion of GAMMA, will not be defending his title in this bout.
The battle was drawn out to a five round decision. Overall, the fighters were looking to do a little bit of wear and tear before committing to any KO shots. Yet, Camacho and Boma weren’t able to land any highlight reel strikes to cont...
