Jimmy Dias Jimenez vs Henry Jones:
Preview:
A matchup of juxtaposition; a guy on his way in vs a guy who is (maybe) on his way out. Jimmy Dias Jimenez is a 17 fight veteran of Synchronicity; but would argue he is still in his prime, as after many ups and downs in the org, he finally got the opportunity to fight for the belt against Joey Kocur in his most recent fight. Whilst he lost this fight; he will be hoping that with another couple of convincing wins he can springboard straight back to that same spot. He has many weapons; he hits hard, kicks hard and has decent muay thai in the clinch. Most of all he is a finisher, who swarms on opponents when he has them hurt. This bodes for a very exciting fight with his next opponent.
Enter Henry Jones; he may only have had 12 professional fights; but don’t be fooled by that, he started fighting at 16 years of age, when he lost his first fight in a decision which frankly could have gone either way. cont...

DFC PODCAST 2
DJ Toast:
Welcome back for the first time! It is your host with the most DJ Toast! A lot has developed since the last show.
As always I will make it fun and entertaining while giving you the whole picture.
Before I start the show I have a new addition added to the show called Andy's corner.
Andy is a die hard mma statistics nerd that I love to pick on for his approach to mma. Andy is the type of person to bring a pick up line book to an after party because it will raise his chances of getting laid. A true nerd to the core.
Anyway, we have a special guest with us today that usually run people the wrong way but boy is he funny. So far in his career he has never left a fight in the judges hands.
Hello he hasn't even let the fight go past 3 minutes! He is has no nick cont... |

Gabe T.S. Gardner: Thanks for coming here Joe, I know you've gotta be busy training for your first fight.
Joe Casey: No doubt.
Gabe T.S. Gardner: When I heard your story, I couldn't quite believe that you were the first person with Albinism to give MMA a shot, what are your thoughts?
Joe Casey: It's to do with the life we lead. Being more vulnerable to sunburn and skin cancers, as well as sticking out like a sore thumb can take over a lot of peoples lives - But I don't give a shit what people think about me, or how odd they may think I look. I was born with two hands, two feet and I can fucking fight. I have as much right to be here as anyone else.
Gabe T.S. Gardner: Absolutley. You've told me on the walk over here to the recording room that you think you have what it takes to go all the way, to some of the top orginisations in the world: GAMMA, EVOLUTION, Synchronicity e cont... |

Creating a kickboxer is fairly simple and appears to be becoming more popular. I still see some messing it up though!
Before we understand the what, let's talk about the why. Why would you want to create a kickboxer? It is my argument that a kickboxer might just be the best way to create a project fighter. A kickboxing match will surely test your fighter's chin and KO power right away, letting you know if you have a keeper or a pillow thrower. Additionally, with your young teen you dont have to worry about having your standup 18 year old having to face a grappler which your standup has no defense against, or vise versa. Everyone is fairly matched immediately and there are no complaints. But! You still dont want to fight too often and you'll still need to give your teen some time to train between fights.
The most important thing when creating a new kickboxer is understanding the rules. In a kickboxing-rules fight the fight can't go to the ground. The cont... |

ICON Fight NIGHT 1
No folks, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. We got a new event name going on and now ICON Fight NIGHT is here to entertain. We got big names on the main card and up and comers on the lower card, with the highlight being a rematch to the most controversial fight of the year between “Elvis The Fighter” Hop Sing Jung and Nate “Cholo Gangster” Gonzalez with the Lightweight Championship on the line.
In the co-main event, literal ass kicker Issumater Tariaksuq will look to defend his newly won Featherweight Belt on the line against Finland’s Favorite Featherweight Pyry Kontio. Veteran Jake Belcher will look to stop the hype train of 2 time National Jr Olympic Pistol & Rifle competition gold medalist Marty Robbins, and Former Champion Peter Potter looks to get back on track after a devastating loss to Don Julio Cesar Chavez.
Without further ado, let’s get to the Prospect Rising, Jaw Dropping, Championship Caliber action that only Revolution XC can provide.
Arturo “Bad Boy” Vidal vs Saif “Fatty” Swaleh
Light-Heavyweight MMA Action
Our first fight of the night featured the debuts of two Light-Heavyweight prospects, and true be told, it wasn’t that interesting. Vidal contro cont... |
We will be adding 1 new manager to our Manger Hall of Fame every per month. We currently have just 6 managers in our Hall of but this is mostly due to our criteria for entry being extremely strict. I decided to relax the criteria to make it possible for more managers to enter.
We will follow a similar strategy as we use for the fighter HOF, where we add 1 new fighter to our HOF based upon how many "points" they have accumulated: Points are based upon the following criteria:
3 points per win
3 points per profile fight (title + super fight)
1 point per draw
1 point per fight
So a win in a title fight will be worth 7 points, a loss is worth just 1.
Here are the current GAMMA Legends part of our HOF:
Boondock The Destroyer (503)
Gale Hawthorne (22636)
Mr Gutz (3074)
Igor Psycho (6994)
Face Kicker (2965)
Whymer Van Mastodon (40116)
Among those managers, just Boondock and Whymer are still active.
I will add managers purely based upon accumulated points. Things such as total title fights, HOF fighters will also be taken into consideration, but bottom line, the managers with the most point will enter first. I want to add a few extra managers, so for the later part of 2016 you will likely see 7-8 managers being added, as of 2017 i will stick to 1 per month. I will announce the new inductions in the next few days, i want to check the stats first. |
