DFC Las Vegas is the future of mixed martial arts. A confident statement but not one that is unfounded. You can't have ignored the coverage in the Tycoon Times of late, the event previews, the fighter profiles or even tips and tricks by the owner of the Las Vegas branch owner Jay Lawrence -
in some form or another it is likely this fledgling fight organisation has already come across your radar.
With the largest talent pool in the world of MMA Tycoon (currently standing at over 300 fighters) and two weekly events, and with its own KT league;
DFC is pushing the boundaries of what fighting organisations have been able to accomplish, especially given their relatively short time of existence.
We’ve all had dealings with organisations lower down the chain of things, I mean who among us has had a fighter make their pro debut in an org like Synchronicity or GAMMA? Barely any if any at all.
The events will often be inconsistently arranged and the merits of who earns a title fight may seem to be dec cont... |

Gurney Halleck is a newcomer to Generation coming from Gamma Kids New York where he was the one-time Featherweight Champion. Gurney has a 6-3 career record with 5 wins by KO/TKO. Halleck has a solid ground game, but he tends to use that only when called upon by his opponent. H cont... |

Hello fight fans, Jack Russell here. Formerly of MMA Fanzone but we had to shut down whilst my former colleague Johnson Schmidt awaits trial.
I am here today interviewing top fighter, Ferdinand Cortes. He is almost unheralded since going on an 11 fight winning streak which has led him to capturing the EVO title and defending it a record tying 5 times.
JR: So Ferdinand, your next fight is against Sean Tallon. A man whom you have a bitter rivalry with. Tell us about your mindset heading into this fight.
Ferdinand Cortes: I wouldn’t say it’s a bitter rivalry. We used to train together until he turned his back on us and our team. He then fought a dude with not much experience and much younger in Geralt. Now he will have to fight someone who hits hard and won’t fall into his gameplans. I’m going in there to humiliate him but with a clear head.
JR: T cont... |

"Big Iron" Marty Robbins
3-1 MMA
Marty "Big Iron" Robbins is an 18 year old Arizona native who is one of MMA's most talked about young prospects. He is the son of an Arizona Ranger who he respectfully refers to as his "Pa". His father, who is an integral part of Marty's decision making, refused to be part of the interview and stated that if I didn't get off his property he'd "stick his foot so far up my ass I'd be tastin' leather".
Even though he found success as a former 2x National Jr Olympic Pistol & Rifle competition gold medalist, he saw no future in the sport to make a living. Marty started training MMA at 16 and has displayed incredible boxing technique for someone his age. Marty, while still in high school, finished 3 of his 4 opponents in under 40 seconds earning him 3 KOTN bonuses at the age of 17.
Although he lost his Revolution XC - ICON debut against 13-6 veteran, Jake "The Talent" Belcher (286026), he dominated his opponent in Rds1 & 2. However, on his way to cruising towa cont... |

Lebowski Island Achievers 1: This Isn't Vietnam
Event Preview
145 lbs
The inaugural fight for the Lebowski Island Achievers will feature one of the promotion's youngest fighters as undefeated 19-year-old submission wizard Bobby Sands takes on Japanese striker Masa "Tiger" Hattori. Hattori was crowned a champion in his professional debut, taking a hard-fought decision under the banner of the now closed Deserted Fighting promotion.
A strong dirty boxer, Hattori was nearly finished by punches in the dying moments of his debut but should have the advantage on the feet against his less-experienced opponent. Sands' most likely method to victory will be to collect his third submission - "Tiger" is a capable wrestler but has thus far shown a penchant for close-quarters combat, which could make it more difficult to elude takedowns.
Hattori, meanwhile, will have to be exceed cont... |

Welcome back Revolution Island viewers to another event preview!
This time we'll be breaking down Revolution Time To Fight, another fantastic card coming to you live this Sunday from the Underground. Let's get right down to business.
145 lbs - Quincy Queef (0-1-0 MMA, 0-1-0 RI) vs. Jochem Vermeer (0-1-0 MMA, 0-0-0 RI)
Though billed as "The Big" Queef, the American's debut was more of a whimper as he was rocked by ground and pound late in the first round at Revolution Island Night 1 and was unable to recover in time to avoid being finished soon after the beginning of the second.
His opponent, Dutch boxer Jochem Vermeer, was also knocked out in his pro debut after being dazed by punches near the end of the first round before being put out cold by a textbook spinning backfist.
Both men are normally strikers, despite Queef's multiple takedowns in his debut, but Vermeer's boxing career was indicat cont... |

Interview of MMA Fighter Storman Norman
This interview was done after Norman's first MMA fight.
JJ: How long have you been doing Mixed Martial Arts what belts do you have if any?
SN:I've been doing martial arts for about 1.5 yrs now. I started off just training BJJ, which I hold a blue belt in, and the last 5 months or so I've been kickboxing as well.
JJ:What does your wife think about you being a MMA fighter ?
SN: My wife is very supportive, but at the same time it really stresses her out. She really doesn't even like watching me grapple much less get punched in the face in MMA but she knows it's something I've always wanted to do so she's cont... |
DFC Sin City 9 Review
by Jay Lawrence
On September 17th, 2016, the 9th edition of the Sin City enterprise brought 1928 MMA fans into Hayashi's Lounge in Las Vegas. Tomas Lindberg became the 5th DFC fighter to accumulate 4 wins in DFC (2 of which were title wins). The event scored a rating of 122.32, becoming the 5th best event in DFC history to date. With an attendance of 1928, this was also the 3rd most attended event in DFC history to date. It was an exciting event holding a title match, the debut of a world champion in Richard Fliehr, and 9 out of 10 fighters finished early with 7 of them finishing in the first round. There was blood, there was glory, some got laid, and some got laid out.
Opening Fight -
135 lbs Maxi Smut DEFEATS Byron Jones TKO (Punches) 1 00:57
Byron Jones is having a rough start to his career. He lost his first fight in 18 seconds and never got anywhere really. In this fight Byron almost didn't make weight, then when the fight started he appeared well out of shape. Jones started off aggressive and got the first punch in, but that was about it. Smut dominated the rest of the fight and within the first minute Byron was mouth-breathing on the mat, L cont... |
