Tonight on MMA Hype, Jared Asante and Brett Clarke are with LFC owner James Listerman, to analyze LFC’s first event.
Here’s Jared and Brett.
-- -- --
Jared Asante: Good evening ladies and gentlemen! LFC 1 was a huge success, thanks to the participation of our beloved sponsor, Kaiser fightwear, but most importantly, thanks to all fighters that showed up and gave us an incredible performance.
Brett Clarke: Indeed Jared. It was extremely fun to see all the new fighters, some of them at their professional debut, go in the cage without fear and deli cont...

RFC 10: In the Zone brought to us by Hilo’s own Vikai Gear!!! The merchandise partner of Rebirth FC! Be sure to check them out, as Vikai has some reasonably priced clothing for your fighters. Also special thanks to Krum Koev for the sweet event posters.
RFC 10 was RFC’s first venture into the Hilo Hard Knocks Arena, and it was a complete success. The house was packed with people out to see the best fights Hilo has to offer. Impaler quipped that the RFC show this Saturday would be better than anything Steel Penn/ICON would be putting on, only to find out there was no SP/ICON event this week. Impaler chuckled, “Did they close their doors already?!!!!” Meanwhile the doors were wide open at the Hard Knocks Arena, and the celebrities were piling in more than ever. Tycoon manager The Clown Prince of Crime was in the house. He had been recently given a chance for oe of his 300k 1 cont... |

Interviewer: Today, well be having a chat with a rising fighter from our beloved Manchester - Ahsan "The Emperor" Hamed. Nice to meet you, Ahsan.
Ahsan: Nice to meet you too, Dave!
Dave: I saw an article about you in a newspaper and thought you are quite an interesting fighter with some nice achievements on this young age. Me and the fellas watching this on TV are really interested in how you got to the point you are now, as a fighter. Where have you found your love for the sport, and how did this all begin?
Ahsan: What kind of article was it? I'm quite a self-loving person cont... |

Revolution XC 7 comes at you via King Theatre in Los Angeles with not one, but Two major Title Fights in the last two fights of October 6th 2016. There’s going to be violence, prestige, and potentially controversy. I’ll get to that later, but first let’s start with the undercard, which is headlined by a major Light-heavyweight fight between Arturo Vidal and Angry Racist and an appearance by the best thing to happen to Buzz in a long time.
“Soul Absorber” Kenshiro Kakashi vs Hank “The Tank” Nellans
Super-Heavyweight Contest
Kakashi’s debut was a disaster, as his body was tenderized like a hunk of meat and he lost via unanimous 30-25 scorecards. Nellans debut was the opposite end of the suck spectrum as he got guillotined in 0:18 seconds. This fight depends on whether Kakashi goes to the ground, as he could get an easy submission, but “The Tank” could wreck him on the feet. I see this fight being won by Hank via late stoppage.
Nellans via TKO (Punches), round 3

GAMMA: Gossip#53
It has been a long time since i had a GAMMA Gossip, so i decided to get down to it. I plan to do one of these every month.
It is interesting because the last time i did one of these, GAMMA had a total of 94 top 1000 fighters (84 were in GAMMA, the rest were at our affiliates) and 20 top 200 fighters, we now have 109 top 1000 (92 in GAMMA, rest in the GAMMA affiliates) and 28 top 200 fighters. Frankly speaking i did not expect us to be able to expand any further because we literally lack space on the events to book fighters; we already run 5 events per month. I have already booked ahead of time and as of the early part of next year, I will run 6 events per month, this will give a little more space to book more frequent fights.
145lbs Division
Fabian Hoi has been screwing up the plans for the 145lbs division as of late, winning his title fights but losing when it matters in his super fights (his record in Super fights since joining is 1-3), the last KO he received was against legend Jameson Connemara. He will be going up against Lukasz Wolek in his next fight, this will be th cont... |

Prelims:
Dark Dark vs Brock Marciano:
A fight between heavyweights to kick off the card, but this will not be traditional heavyweight slug off. Brock Marciano; despite being TKO’d in his last fight, has proved to be a very decent wrestler, and considering the rumours about Dark Dark’s lack of training, that should be more than enough in this fight.
Brock Marciano via Unanimous Decision
Maurice Von Fenwa vs Requis Von Fenwa:
A fight between two guys, who are cousins/brothers and are out of the same management stable, there will be some heavy leather thrown in this fight. Manager Grant Brophy will be watching on intensely; as he ruthlessly forced these relatives to slug it out cont... |
What a great night of fights! All but two bouts were decided without the help of the judges and every one of the 756 Island fans in attendance left convinced that Revolution Island offers the highest caliber of fighting talent on the Island. Without further ado, here's what happened at Revolution Island Night 2, brought to you in collaboration with Darkness Clothing!
185 lbs - "The" Island Champion (debut) vs. "Mosquito" Chico Cunha (1-0-0 MMA, 0-0-0 RI)
Well, sometimes self-confidence isn't the most helpful thing in the world as Island Champion clearly paid no concern to his opponent's ability to hurt him on the feet. He came forward from the first bell, looking to clinch rather than strike, but his complete failure to defend his opponent's punches made for a short night as "Mosquito" connected with his opponent's head repeatedly at a blistering pace before dropping him with a straight left less than t cont... |
