Tough Start Bright Future

Fighter profile of Domonic Dilbrandt by Doc Dannis

Going pro in MMA at the young age of 16 a few weeks before his 17th birthday Domonic Dilbrandt took his first fight against Bryson Pico an opponent with much more experience in the grappling aspect of martial arts, Domonic Dilbrandt who was a white belt in Bjj at the time would make the mistake of diving in for a takedown against the Black Belt Jiu Jitsu expert and would subsequently be submitted in the first round.

After Intense training DIlbrandt would take his second fight, this time as a blue belt in Bjj unfortunately for him his opponent would be the 12-9 Brown belt Gosha Lopez, facing yet another opponent with much more experience than himself, Domonic would be submitted again in the first round bringing him down to 0-2.

Since the QFC promoters were "unable to book fair fights" he would then sign his first official contract.

His biggest weakness was most definitely his Bjj so Domonic would then devote himself fully to his Bjj training and is now a purple belt and has added great wrestling to his already great standup skills, though you wouldn't know because Dilbrandt has won his last two fights with devestating award winning knockouts.

5 facts about Dilbrandt.

He has never made it out of the first round in his career his losses have both came by a first round submission and his two wins are both first round knockouts.

He has only absorbed 1 single strike this far in his 4 fight career, it was a body punch.

His next fight takes place September 22,2019 at RRFC 6 in Las Vegas at the Underground Arena and is against Sami Steele (3-1).

Even though he started off his career 0-2 he says his goal have remained the same, to become the #1P4P fighter on the planet.

He and his younger brother Devin have been training martial arts their whole lives and his brother Devin devoted himself to Bjj at age 15 when he saw his brother get dominated by black belt Bryson Pico, he is now 17 with a black b

Well here i am today fresh from an interview with Hei Long King, manager with Underground Fights Ent and owner of the Underground Specialist Academy in Amsterdam and King "Hall of Fame" Kong who in just five fights has secured two titles and defended them both successfully.

They have of both kindly taken time out of their busy schedule to grant me this interview.

Rather than meet in a noisy gym we have instead agreed to meet at Langer's a little Deli on Alvarado street. I am my usual fifteen minutes early but to my pleasant surprise only have to wait ten minutes for my guests to arrive. When we have all placed our orders.

CFC 5: Challengers Real Preview

Event Preview: CFC 5: Challengers
Cage Fighting Championships
2019-09-21, London, Micro Arena - London
Author:Paul Heyman

Article Written by Willzay82, Manager: Paul Heyman

The upcoming event for CFC named CFC 5: Challengers is an interesting and very stacked card. Last week the up and coming organization CFC broke into the top 20 organizations list and it is because of cards like this that they are rising so quickly. We all have heard the news that Pierre St Georges is going to Headline CFC 6 but this CFC 5 card is a must watch. It features lots of young up and coming talent, and the winners in this card could get shiny new opportunities. Here are the previews for the big fights next week.

Murilo Mauricio Ninja DeSilva Vs Oleg Liguy

The card is stacked with talent so it’s hard to declare this the main event or the last fight of the evening, but either way th

GAMMA: Dao vs Masa super fight

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

We can now confirm that Dao "Hammer and The Nail" Sonnen (273645) (GAMMA) vs Masa Sanada (295178) (CEC) super fight is now in place. The fight will take place in the first week of October.

Another big super fight confirmed between Dao and Sanada. This is #3 vs #1 in the Welterweight division and a competition between CEC and GAMMA. Despite being 163-93-4 historically, as of late we have been sucking major league balls in our super fights. We are currently 3rd in the Super fight league table with 9 points since the summer with 9 points behind the current leaders CEC who have 18 points. A win will help cover some ground, but CEC are way ahead at the moment.

The No Scrubs MMA Show #1 - Hilo Is A Dump!

Editorial by

That's right, it's me, folks. The Australian sensation, sufferer of chronic copulation, on the spectrum of retardation, the one and only Ely Scrubs. Back at it again for the first time with a podcast. Now, there's a lot of talk going around about fighters making podcasts (looking at you, Flower Power Hour) so I'm going to go ahead and put this out first and call myself a trailblazer.

I'm guessing most fighter podcasts would probably be talking about their own training camps, their pre-fight gameplans, or maybe even talking to another guest on the show. Well, guess what? I'm two hundred and fifteen pounds out of shape from fight weight, on the wrong side of thirty-seven years old and haven't got a fight contract worth two cents. So, less about me.    On that note, I've been trying to get back into the honest racket we all call the fight game. Woke up in Hilo after my last coke binge and went to see where all the local fights were. I can now scientifically conclude that Hilo is a dump. Outside of the crackheads at the local Cozad, the only place to get some rounds in is a shack called Special Ops N7 Training. Oh, they're special, alright. They've got a mediocre BJJ player drilling sloppy submissions and a woeful wrestler teaching terrible takedown techniques. Five minutes in there, I scoffed and left immediately (I didn't want to break a sweat, they didn't have air conditioning).    So I'm thinking, alright then, no training for me, wouldn't be the first time or last time in my career. I headed into town to book my next fight immediately. Lo and behold, there's only one fight promotion in town (seems like a trend here, no?) and they don't even have a 265+ division. This is blatant fat shaming and Mike Tycoon needs to do something about it, pronto. Because I am not going on a diet.   Til later, folks, it's been real.
