Editorial by Thanks for sitting down with me, El Presidente. I was really hoping to get a titty streamer to do this podcast but I guess I'll have to settle for the double champ. Make yourself comfortable.
First off, let's address the elephant in the room. Word on the street is that you're packing a whopper down there. Yuuuuge. And I'm sure it looks even bigger in those tiny hands. Anyway, I was talking to an USADA piss tester the other day, and obviously, he saw you pull out the legendary Donald Jr., so to speak. "Swinging past the knees," were his words. He swore you could use that thing to check leg kicks. Thoughts?

Mixed martial arts is unique. It's a combat sport that unites the advantages of several martial arts, and this makes it not only spectacular and fun to follow but exciting and entertaining as well. As its name clearly shows, it is "mixed", meaning that the athletes stepping into the ring are using a variety of styles combined in order to take down, knock out, and submit their opponents as efficiently as possible. The fights have three pretty distinctive stages - standing up, bringing down, and forcing the opponent into submission. Here are the styles most fighters use in every stage.
Stand up
Boxing is not only the most popular combat sports for betting but it's a vital component of many MMA fights. For many fighters, boxing is at the basis of their strikes, accounting for a large number of punches, knockdowns, KOs, and TKOs in their matches.
Other combat sports that have lent many of their techniques to MMA fighters are Muay Thai boxing and kickboxing (developed from a merger of Muay Thai and karate). These are very versatile techniques that widely cover the use of all four limbs (all eight in the case of Muay Thai, including the knees and the elbows) at every range - short, medium, and long.
Groundwork
While today fighting on the ground is no longer as popular as it was in the earlier years of MMA, bringing the fight to the ground level is still a very important part in many fights. To do so, MMA fighters use techniques learned from several well-known martial a cont... |

Far Q Elite MMA would like to introduce Bloodbath and IFA Light Heavyweight Champion Manny Johnson with a short profile
Manny was cut as a prospect from one of the major camps after his first two fights with a 1-1 record and tried his luck as a free agent
After joining Far Q Elite MMA Manny has gone 5-0, 4 of which were title fights
While Manny is not a standout in any specific area he does appear to be extremely well rounded and capable of winning fights anywhere the fight goes
Manny has KO power, a solid chin and is a smart kid that learns quickly
At only 19 years of age, Manny might have the potential to climb the P4P in years to come |

I have to say, that despite the fact that game has not really been moving forward and the talent pool among fighter managers is nowhere near where it was 5-6 years ago, when it comes down to high level orgs, this is probably the most balanced it has ever been. Besides that, the communication and activity of those org owners is also top notch.
I remember the situation in the not so distant past, even 2-3 years ago, it was terrible. There was some "top orgs" that had owners that barely logged into the game, it took days to even get a reply. Organizing a top level super fight was sometimes a long and tedious task, the situation was really dire.
But even if we go back a few years earlier, lets say during the peak era of the game, orgs were run by little clique's or alliances, that where feeding hype towards their prefered hype farms. There was several vendetta's/feud's among orgs as well, so getting the big fights were even worse than 2-3 years ago.
Do not get me wrong, orgs were in general run way better earlier, there was a lot more hype, articles coming out, often by professional writers. Each org had custom posters being made weekly as well, all of that is in the past now, but if we are comparing a open scene, with relatively open collaboration between orgs, parity, then this is probably the golden era.
Just to make a comparisson (These are the top 10 with top 100 fighters, excluding-ID orgs):
Claymore Elite Combat = 13 top 100
Global Association of MMA™ = 13 top 100
Synchronicity = 15 top 100
Empyrean = 14 top 100
PRIDE = 11 top 100
Pulse Fighting Championship = 17 top 100

Hi managers in F&BE.- St. Petersburg! I hope you are doing fine.
For those of you fighting in this week´s event, F&BE 6- Hunger for Flesh, please note it will take place in Rio de Janeiro. Tomorrow 12nd Oct. at 15:00 GMT.
Most of you know that if this is not your fighter´s base city, there is no need to travel to it. Wherever the event is held, you just have to cancel your autoflight as soon as you receive an email "autoflight booked" and your fighter will be teletransported to the fight. No loss of energy or morale by doing that.
I just wanted to tell you that Hunger for Flesh Event will bring contenders for the 205lb. title shot, next 23rd Oct. There is a vacant slot in F&BE TF2- Bonded by Blood card waiting for the results of Main Event tomorrow: Tarver vs. Orion. One of these fighters has already one foot inside the cage.
Poweful 25 y.o. Damocles Tarver (2-0) vs. youngster, but talented "Morning Star" Orion (2-0), only 17! The last one having asked for this match expressly. (Otherwise we might have thought this is not a fair matching). Good luck Orion!, maybe you are going to need it!. Though, we think you are on the right way. Go ahead for the title shot.
Good luck to the rest of the fighters too.
Regards! |
