The first fight of the Island Season takes place on Friday the 6th of Janurary 2023. With 20 fresh new faces ready to put their bodies on the line for your entertainment.
The main card is headlined by Island Android and Arnold Blevins, while the IslandDimes odds makers have Island Android as the favored fiighter. It will be a close fight with both fighters prefering to fight in the clinch. Android is the smaller and lighter of the fighters but is scrappy.
Klaus Voorman and Dakoda Wyatt is the co-main event of the night. With IslandDimes having Klaus Voorman as the substaintal odds favorate. This is based off of Voorman's QFC fight against Dan Odonnel where he he put on a impressive offensive display throwing 15 strikes with a 100% strike rate before taking Dan Odonnel's soul at the 1:13 mark. Wyatt has not been tested yet, but has better stand up skills than Odonnel so this fight could be more competetive.

It seems like nobody else is making 2022 award voting and I get that there are still a lot of important fights on New Year’s Eve, so I’m going to say who I think are the most dominant fighters this year from each weight class.

(soon to be 16-0 after he KOs Valen Dreth on New Year’s Eve) Yes of course De Geno is the best 2022 midgetweight fighter. He hasn’t lost this year and give me one reason why Valen Dreth will beat him on Saturday. It’s true that he just joined syn’ but with 2 TKO’s against reigning champ Detkhunjon Sitsongrit in a row, I think De Geno has proved himself enough.

Amongst all the rumours of parties in Sucker Punch being funded by Big Pickle, inside sources report that the #1 party animal in all of Tycoon, Parta "Party" Matti, has been subject to backroom envelopes straight from the owner due to the referee/doctor shenanegans of SP 220. To add onto this, the famed "Mr Pickle" himself, Edward Mills, has recently come out of contract and our sources say that his management has LEAKED information about his incoming contracts to interested parties. Let's just say that where-ever he goes, "Mr Pickles" is going to get paid and it's only going to further serve the Big Pickle Agenda.

 Hey everyone, this is Peter Hardening and I'm filling in for Carl Abernathy with The Duke-Town Gazette's sports page.
"The Slasher" Jason Voorhees just can not stay out of the light. Which for a recluse like him that could mean trouble. As he tends to have a short and bad attitude and is quick to anger. And we all know his response is violence.
Jason has been trying to keep to his own and not be in spotlight but fate says otherwise for him. With a reporter around every corner watching his every move.
Now we all know that Jason isn't much of a talker. But to that I have a surprise for y'all. Last week Carl Abernathy was able to meet up with Jason's mother out at Camp Crystal Lake. Now we have not as of yet heard back from Carl, nor can we reach him on his phone... but they don't have very good cellular service out at Crystal Lake. And I'm sure we will hear back from him soon.
