SM Fight-Liiga, one of Finland's premier MMA organizations, made a special announcement today following their sixth event last night as they made official their plans to crown the first champions across each weight class.

"This is something that's been in the works for a while, and has been a big discussion amongst our current roster." organization owner Billy Talent said in a press conference following the event.

"We didn't want to just throw the belt around early in our genesis as a company - rather, we wanted our fighters to earn the right to fight for the belt. Last nights results solidified how we see those matches playing out."
