Welcome to the launch of my new Dragon’s Den fund for new, aspiring MMA Tycoon managers! This is a new venture that I am going to be running where newer VIP managers will be able to make a pitch to me to receive funding for their goals and aspirations.
The fund currently stands at $2.5m of my own Tycoon cash, and there will be no restriction placed on the size of any individual amount given to a manager. What will be vital, however, in keeping with the style of the Dragons’ Den TV programme is that the person applying for the money will need to justify what the cash will actually be used for.
To help, below are some FAQ that I would anticipate being asked in due course...
So how do I apply? Well it could hardly be any easier really – all you need to do is PM me with their pitch, which can be as long or short as they like, and tell me why you nee cont... |

Howdy partners! We’re back with GAMMA Gossip, your favorite MMA show. I’m AC Jimbo and I’ll be leading us through the latest goings on from GAMMA HQ, reviewing our most recent events and checking out what we can look forward to at the next two fight nights.
Let’s begin by taking a look at GAMMA 281 and 282.
Beginning with GAMMA 281, we previewed what was expected to be the two showpiece fights at the time of going to air. However, a late decision was made to switch the co-main event. In the end, the Sinatra versus Sinclair fight was bumped down to the under-card, and turned out to be a more interesting fight than I had predicted it would be, but still failed to separate the two inside the three rounds, whereupon Frank Sinatra had his hand raised.
I told you before how excited I was about the cont... |

NGF 36 Review
UNDER CARD
Welterweight Fight
#28 Thomas Dos Santos (2-7 NGF) v #23 Michael Lescott (6-5, 2-2 NGF)
I’m really starting to feel bad for Thomas Dos Santos. He is a hard worker, very hard worker. He fought some really hard fights at bantamweight, even taking some hard fights to a decision, but he always seems to come out with the short end. Dos Santos dominated this fight, round 1 and 2 were all his, he did all sorts of damage and controlled this fight in the clinch. The problem came with conditioning; it looked like Dos Santos was gassed to start the 3rd round. It was an early combination by Michael Lescott that cut Dos Santos, the fight turned from there. 3:23 Lescott was able to lock in a Kimura and game Dos Santos his 7th loss in th cont... |

NGF 37 Preview
MAIN CARD
Main Event
Light Heavyweight Title Fight
#4 Dmitry Boitsoff (10-4, 2-2 NGF) v #1 Jack Poldi (10-3, 5-0 NGF)
Jack Poldi, NGF’s FOTY will put his light heavyweight belt on the line against Dmitry Boitsoff. Dmitry Boitsoff will take his bjj black belt and try and submit Jack Poldi. These two met once before back at NGF 24 with Poldi beating him senseless and getting a stoppage due to cuts in the 2nd round. Boitsoff, one of the most predictable, boring fighters in the NGF. One thing you can count on is this WONT be a FOTN. Boitsoff will throw zero to 1 strike standing up, then spend every ounce of is being trying to get takedowns. Once there, it will be submission after submission until he locks one up, it doesn’t matter, on top or bottom, his bjj skills are the best in the NGF. Jack Poldi will look to defend his title for the 4th time in this one. He is a stand up fighter who can hold his own if it gets to the ground. In fact in his last dominating win against Martyn Musgrave, he won the stand up, clinch and ground game, attempting 9 submissions in the win also. This should be a great matchup, I don’ cont... |

GFC XI started with a bang, with the first two fights lasting a total of ten seconds combined. Only two of the fights on the card went the distance and it is very apparent that the fighter of GFC are hell bent on finishing their fights and entertaining the fans. Hard Knocks Arena was rocking and the fans were on their feet throughout the night of exciting fights. Here's a breakdown of the action.
The first fight was short and sweet as Dingle Berrian (20-7) picked up his 20th career win over Bruce Leroy (5-4). At the opening bell Berrian drilled Leroy with a brutal combination that cut him and dropped him to the ground. Berrian allowed the rocked Leroy to get back to his feet only to hammer him with a second deadly combination that knocked him out cold. As the doctors tended to Leroy, Berrian strutted around the cage exhausting in his win. Berrian's five second knockout will go down in the record books as the fastest knockout in GFC history.
