Hello everyone I am “Sunshine” Weston Markson and now that The Rock has left the studio im here with Rudy “The Box” Knife to preview HMMA 64. This card is full of huge fights with title implications and standings amongst the top of the divisions. This card has a title fight, and a HMMA Hall of Famer gracing the cage, if these are not fights your interested in there are so many more great matchups that will find your intrigue.
Rudy: That’s right Weston, now that I am able to talk I wanted to say I can not wait for this weekend. 40 of HMMA’s best will take their spot inside the cage and do battle for supremacy in the divisions. HMMA 64 is a great card itself but this weekend both cards are live on PPV and its going to be huge!

BFT 182 Review
Welterweight - Chumba "La Bamba" Wumba Unanimous Decisions John "Kook" Connor
The fight starts with a takedown from Connor and he stays on top and throws a little ground and pound and just overall working over Wumba. The second round had the very lack luster clinch - un-clinch strategy employed. Not my favorite. But when they were at teh distance Wumba made up for his other plans by being exciting. A nice hook rocks Connor, and an even better uppercut sends him to the mat. He made it out of the round, but ooohhh man, he looks out of it. The crowd could almost feel a finish coming. The next round saw more of the same from Wumba, the good and the bad. Another overhand right sends Connor back down to the mat. Connor was able to keep going, somehow, and cont... |

Welcome back to your latest dose of MMA goodness, personally delivered by me, AC Jimbo. As usual it’s a packed show, full of previews, reviews and I’ve no idea what else! On with the show!
Most recently at GAMMA we’ve enjoyed GAMMA 285 and 286, so let’s take a look at the main talking points from those events.
*tape rolls showing montage of Ray Zero’s rear-naked choke out of Mike Jones that earned him sub of the night at GAMMA 285 and Renan St Juste’s devastating uppercut to knockout Forest Gump at GAMMA 286, finishing with St Juste and Keith Green holding aloft their newly won title belts*
As you can see, there was plenty of action at those two events, but clearly the big talking point is that GAMMA now has two brand new champions in its midst.
First at GAMMA 285, Keith Green defeated the GAMMA poster-boy Raz Matazz by unanimous decision. As much as his army of fans may have hoped for the judges to return a decision in his cont... |

265+ lbs - Tjemu Van Dijk vs Rod Flanders
In the main event of the evening the fiery prospect Tjemu Van Dijk put his impressive 7-1 record on the line against a sturdy grappler fresh to the MMA scene by the name of Rod Flanders. This contest did not last long at all as Van Dijk landed a hellish kick to the head right off the opening bell, knocking Flanders down and putting him in some serious peril. A dazed and confused Flanders was waved back to his feet and got tagged with a beautiful and fatal superman punch rendering him limp and putting a dramatic and swift end to the one sided bout. Amazingly all of this happened within the course of a few seconds and Van Dijk claims an impressive victory at an official 0:05 seconds of round 1 by KO (Superman Punch).
265lbs - Galahald Du Lac vs Jackie Chan
The co-main event witnessed another grappler vs striker bout in pure form as Jackie Chan looked to halt the rising 5-1 prospect cont... |

UNDER CARD
Bantamweight Fight
#20 Tony Frost (4-4, 4-3 NGF) v #15 PO Burn (6-5, 5-3 NGF)
Tony Frost once looked very promising, young, talented, chip on his shoulder, now after 3 straight losses he just looks raw and lost. This just simply wasn’t much of a fight. Burn had lost 3 straight heading into this one and he needed a win like the desert needs rain. As I wrote in the preview, Frost was submitted in his last two fights, he has no ground game, he lacks wrestling skills at this point, and this one went as scripted for Burn, take down, and wear him out with submission attempts. This fight was the worst on the card by far, it was a win for Burn, but thankfully most fans missed this one. PO in the first was in complete control, attempting 9 submission and using ground and pound to wear out Frost. The 2nd was the same thing. You can say this about Frost, defending 5 of 8 take downs and 15-16 submissions, at least his take down defense and submission cont... |
