Welcome everyone to our CCoR: Edward vs. Johnson II Review! Last night, we witnessed a plethora of knockouts which was unbelievable if you had the chance to watch LIVE! The Light-heavy weight champion Ryan Edward defended his belt again a super tough & game, Calvin Johnson! This card from top to bottom was provided plenty of entertainment for our fans! Let’s break down what happened!
In our main event, the light-heavyweight title was on the line as champion Ryan Edward took on the always tough, Calvin Johnson for the seconds time! From the opening bell, Edward controlled the pace of the fight, cut off angles & patiently mixed up his striking almost landing at will. He opened up a cut early which you can see was bothersome to his opponent. Calvin scored points of his own throwing numerous leg kicks hoping to slow the champion down but it was to little avail. Ryan just had too much momentum & eventually finished the fight with a brutal left hand just before the end of the 1st! Masterful performance by the champion! We’ll see what’s next for him & if he can keep his streak going!
In our co-main event, light-heavyweights, Leonard Washington & Matt Tolbowl cont...

UNDER CARD
Featherweight Fight
#10 Jordan Mutch (11-9, 0-1 NGF) v #6 Jack Brown (6-2-1, 3-0 NGF)
Jack Brown moves to 3-0 in the NGF, but does it by one of the more boring decision wins he’s had. Jordan Mutch just looked over matched or just plain jitters? I don’t know, but he certainly didn’t bring much to this fight landing just 5 strikes the entire fight and only 1 sub attempt. Jack Brown keeps winning, but each fight seems to be getting less and less exciting. He controlled the 2nd and 3rd rounds in the clinch landing 12 of 17 punches, but he was 0 for 6 on take down attempts. He did enough in the clinch and did a lot off his back and was able to land 10 of 21 ground strikes. Decision win for Brown, but he’s going to have to come up with a finishing attack soon.

Capelli King is here for yet another edition of MMA Gossip! Last week was a great one for GAMMA, with several benchmarks.
Lets not waste any more time and get down to the action starting with last weeks event reviews!
GAMMA#305 Cabreros v Vadim
Raz Matazz v Hammer Longbird
Raz remembered some of the old stuff when he took out Hammer Longbird with an early TKO (Kick and Punches). This was a key fight for Hammer and one which could have pushed him into the top tier echelons, however Raz showed why he is still a legit top level fighter and ended everything early on in the first round.
In the main event we witnessed Peter Cabreros fail in his super fight against ONI's Vadim Vadokowich. This fight was not what everyone expected. We were all waiting to see a blood-fest, but Vadim came in very conservative. He did pull of the decision, but Peter was piling on the pressure and won the last round. Unfortunately this was just a 3 round fight though and is was probably 2 rounds not enough for Peter as he lost his first fight in 8 and with it his chance to face Renan Juste for the title. Something he had surely dese cont... |

49. - Jolon Williams.
This weeks MMA Universal pick for 49th top manager in the current mixed martial arts world features former fighter turned entrepreneur and stable owner/management team head, Mr. Jolon Williams.
While Mr. Williams is known most within the MMA world as the founder of the immensely successful, however now defunct London based org, Nonstop Entertainment Incorporated, an org which would later become known as Eminence under new management, which would in turn, then go on to merge with Ascension, few know of his roots as an MMA competitor himself. A boxer as a youth, Mr. Williams would enter into mixed martial arts after his then boxing coach informed him of it's more competitive nature. Having compiled an undefeated record within the mean, lean streets of England as a boxer, Jolon gladly made the transition in search for a challenge.
Unfortunately for Mr. Williams, a challenge was precisely what he would find, and one he would find himself unable to overcome. After stringing together a modest record of 5 victories and 3 defeats within lower to mid tier organisations, Jolon would suffer a severe eye injury during the second round of his ninth bout, a fight he would eventually lose via T cont... |

Garrick Ballantyne (21-16) vs. Jax Teller (12-4)
Our first fight on part 2 of our weekend is the final match-up between Team Hells Balls and Team Misfits when the ultra-talented striker Garrick Ballantyne took on the 25 yr. old striking phenom Jax Teller. The bell rang for round one and we were underway, and Ballantyne came out landing strikes early before pushing the fight into the clinch position inside the first minute of the round. Garrick was able to maintain this position for the entire roun cont... |
Wow! What a weekend we had here. Besides the UFC's night of the living eye poke and the nastiness that became Bones's toe, we also had a great couple nights of fights here at Blunt Force Trauma. We have a great 2 part Review special, so strap in and be ready.
BFT 199 - PRIDE Never Die! 4
The weekend began with the return of BFT's PRIDE Never Die! series. For those not familiar, this is the rare opportunity to fight under PRIDE rules: fighting in a ring instead of BFT's traditional cage, 2-10 minute rounds, the fight judged on the entirety instead of round based judging. The whole sha-bang! So with out further adue, let's take a look at the fighters on the main card.
