HERO: November Spectacular
Greetings to everyone, who made the right choice to read my incredible preview for the mid-November captivating card HERO FC is putting out there entirely for our delight. HERO: November Spectacular features some really big names and is headlined by Antero Wursty defending his Featherweight championship against Zhijing Wang. I’m going through the match ups here and I’m heading to the Malmi Sportshall to make sure there are no drunkards taking my seat, because it gives me a very good sight of the ring girl’s asses.

Preliminary card:
Valko Hai (2-4-0) v Mikko Neva (2-6-0)
Lightweight
Both guys are in desperate need for a win, because their last fights ended in their opponents favour. I predict a war where success will be measured by grit and determination.

Key Chain (3-3-0) v “Magic Pockets” Rob Tandy (1-7-0)
Light heavyweight
Rob Tandy might be better off looking for another profession if he loses to Key Chain and there is a good chance that it will happen given Chain’s heavy hands and flawless boxing technique.

Orpo Jokinen (1-0-0) v Hooligan Nick(1-5-0)
Welterweight
Orpo Jokinen is a promising fighter and a BJJ brown belt. He will look to use his superior grappling against experienced veteran Hooligan Nick.

Cortland “The Carpenter” Cartwright (1-1-0) v Ollilan Jorma (4-2-0)
Welterweight
Ollilan Jorma, a QFC tourney runner up, faces well rounded fighter Cortland Cartwright in a fight that has the potential to propel the winner to the upper echelon of welterweights.

“Dimebag” Taisto Rahapussi (2-2-0) v Karl “Slugger” Sinc (3-2-0)
Middleweight
This is a classical striker vs grappler match up. Sinc would like to keep it standing and trade with Taisto, while he would like to gather another submission victory worth a SOTN award.

Main Card:
“Water Kenny” Ken Hall (4-2-0) v Ieuan „The Beast“ Williams (4-4-0)
Heavyweight
Ken Hall is a very talented grappler and his only losses have come via cuts. He will try to use his ground’n’pound against Ieuan Williams who has knowledge in every aspect of the game but doesn’t shine in any area. He is a tough nut to crack though so I expect a war.

Trouble Some (4-0-0) v “The Head Hunter” Walter Sullivan (3-2-0)
Light heavyweight
Trouble Some looks like a guy that can cause a lot of trouble for sure. Some say he might be the one to stop Vihtala’s run although the champ really looks unstoppable. First thing’s first though as Some has to go past Walter Sullivan and he is not a guy you can think past if you think for your health and well-being.

“The Elbow” Charles Cooper (5-2-0) v Jake Shields (2-1-0)
Welterweight
Jake Shields’ game is all about grappling – he takes you down and makes you tap. That being said, his stand up is limited and Cooper can make his night a short one, especially if he gets him to the cage and unleash some elbows.

Christian “Osmosis” Olson (7-1-0) v Atte “Teufel” Peltola (5-4-0)
Middleweight. Co-main event!
Our co-main event features Christian Olson and Atte Peltola going out to do battle. Olson has shown that he is on another level compared to most guys in the middleweight division. His only loss came after an uppercut out of nowhere from then champion Eddie Torrez. He has bounced back from that loss and is determined to show that he deserves another title shot. His opponent tonight is Atte Peltola. “Teufel” is a very skilled fighter who decided to drop down from the light heavyweight division to what he considers is his natural weight class. He has faced Aleksi Vihtala three times so I doubt he will be intimidated by Olson and his wicked ground and pound. I can’t wait to see Peltola’s middleweight debut and his welcoming fight will be against a guy who will raise hell under his feet so let’s see whether that was a smart move by Atte or Olson will get another title shot at his expense.

Antero Wursty (5-2-0) v “The King” Zhijing Wang (8-2-0)
Featherweight. Title Fight. Main event!
This main event will be Spectacular with a capital S! Antero Wursty took the title from Georgi Todorov after a brutal beating and is looking to make his first title defence against once lightweight champ Zhijing Wang, who made the move to the featherweight division and it seems he is here to stay. Both guys are well rounded and I have no clue where this fight is gonna go. All I know is it will be action packed! Wang might feel he has the advantage on the ground and try to take the fight there and Wursty will surely do what he does best – apply his striking to deliver torment over his opponents. All of his wins have come via knock outs but his purple belt in BJJ is deserved and he has serious ground skills which might surprise Wang. “The King” will look to become a champion in two divisions which will be a true testament for all of his hard work but Wursty just got a hold of the strap and I reckon he likes it and has no intention of letting it go so I’m sure both guys will go all out and we will be in for a treat.
