 BFT 175 - Lurendrejer v Pac

Lightweight - Elijah Cao Unanimous Decisioned Chico "Diamond" Lockdown

The fight started and they hit the mat.Lockdown went straight for the takedown and hoped right into Cao's guard. From there the two of them were trying to take each other's arms off. From his back, Cao was super agressive and avoided taking any damage en route to earning the round. The second round contested on the feet for the most part, and Cao looked good. He was landing at will and Lockdown had little to bring to the table. He was even able to get the takedown and get some ground and pound. He looked stellar that round. The last round was contested mostly on the ground. Cao just looked just like he was completely under control. He got into mount and man, he just wanted to finish it. Cao didn't get a chance to finish him (power to Lockdown for being able to survive what had happened), but he was able to walk away with the decision.

Light Heavyweight - "Jack" John Kennedy knocked out Jakub "Handvice" Kochanowski with strikes at 3:59 in round 1.

John Kennedy was here to win a fight! Kennedy landed great shots at the distance before deciding to move into the clinch. From there, Kennedy landed. A lot. Kennedy landed 34 stikes in the clinch compared to Kochanowski's 1 shot that landed. A sharp elbow landed on Kochanowski that cut him open and sent him to La-La land. Kennedy stayed on the offensive and those elbows hit hard again. Kochanowski got dropped and Kennedy ended things. Vicious elbows from Kennedy!

Co-Main - Middleweight - "Xavante Xernobyl" Hermio Junior knocked out Henk Voetzool with strikes at 4:27 in round 2.

Junior Remains undefeated. Right out of th gate, Junior scored a knockdown with a huge uppercut. Another big right send Voetzool back down to the mat and had him on wobbly legs. Voetzool was able to recover a bit and bring the fight into the clinch. From there, Voetzool looked great. A nice elbow even cut open Junior. Man, that was a round. They went back into the clinch in the second round and Voetzool looked comfortable. Another knee opened up Junior's cut again, but he didn't look too worried. They seperated, and Junior landed a glancing blow that sent Voetzool back to the mat. A straight right knocks him out. Wow! 3 knockdowns from Junior. I think he meant business.

Main Event - Light Heavyweight Title - Champ Shananigan Lurendrejer defended his title for the second time against "Money Pacman" Floyd Pacquiao by unanimous decision.

The fight started, and the two of them looked fairly even on the feet. What probably gave Lurendrejer the bigger advantage was the takedown he got. He was able to do a little work before the ref was pressured by the crowd to stand things up. Round 2 looked more like the first with more ground action. Although, Pacquiao was able to reverse positions, Lurendrejer spent enough time on top to get the round. The third round and Pacquiao had enough. He scored 3 takedowns and worked away at Lurendrejer. He did a lot to hold Pacquiao off and it looked great in the judges eyes. The fourth round Lurendrejer had his way at the distance. He really looked like he was much more comfortable there than anywhere else. He also took things down to the ground to be certain that the judges were on his side. The final round was contested at the distance some more, for the pleasure of Lurendrejer. Pacquiao was able to take things down to the ground and tried to get a submission off right at the end of the fight to try to take the fight out of the judges hands, but he wasn't able to lock anything in there. Lurendrejer was able to take the decision, but he was in a tough fight.
