WELCOME once again fight fans to our Champions Cage of Rage Preview! Tomorrow night, March, 27th we present CCoR:  Edward vs. Kirby! Two titles are on the line as the Light-heavyweight Champion, Ryan Edward takes on 11-2-1 Stone Kirby & Middleweight Champion, Marcelo Alves pits himself against challenger, Suporn Red Gym!

MAIN EVENT Light-heavyweight Title fight: “White Flood” Ryan Edward 23-13 vs. “The Rock” Stone Kirby 11-2-1

Analysis:  Tomorrow night, newly crowned Light-heavyweight champion, Ryan Edward returns to the cage to defend his title against highly ranked opponent, Stone Kirby, who is making his debut! Ryan’s last fight against Chay Willis was a barn burner of a 1st round where we saw Edward finish by brutal TKO! Ryan is a vet who likes to sprawl n’ brawl his opponents but can certainly handle himself on the ground. He’s had an up & down career but his focus and determination has helped him win titles throughout his stint in MMA & now in CCoR. Stone Kirby will be making his debut & what a debut it will be.It's not often you receive a title shot on your debut; that says a lot about how talented this kid is. Kirby holds an impressive 11-2-1 record & could potentially be a star here in our organization. In his last fight, he battled Raphael Browne & lost a decision but his performance was impressive nonetheless. Now originally, it was Browne who was supposed to get the call to face Ryan Edward but he got injured. When Stone heard the news, he jumped at the opportunity to step in as a replacement for his injured foe & challenge for the title. He has stated that this is the best thing that could have happened for him. He feels this is his chance to show the world what he can do. He says he will absolutely make the best of it by taking out Ryan Edward Wednesday night!

Prediction: We could see an upset by Stone Kirby as he’s coming in a major underdog but I doubt it. I believe Ryan Edward will control the fight everywhere it goes & hold on to his title. Stone however, will surprise & make it a good fight & cement his name as a top fighter in the division.

CO-MAIN EVENT Middleweight Title Fight: Marcelo Alves (13-6) vs. “Rambo” Suporn Red Gym (20-14)

Analysis: Also on the card we feature another title bout, this time in the Middleweight division! Champion, Marcelo Alves who’s riding a 3 fight win streak takes on popular rising star, Suporn Red Gym! For the life of me, I still don’t get his name! Anyhow, Suporn returns after a devastating TKO victory over Ricky Davis. Fans remember the bloody fight those two had a few months back! Suporn says to “expect the same brutality Wednesday night!” Marcelo Alves is a well-rounded fighter who has won fights by knockout & submission. He last fought a month ago where he captured the title from Alessandro Pittana with a first round armbar. He’ll be looking to keep his win streak alive with hopefully another finish the fans will enjoy.

Prediction:  Marcelo should keep the fight standing where he can score the finish. On the ground, Suporn is good enough to give Marcelo fits & if he gets on top could put on a repeat performance of his last fight where he used devastating strikes to cut open his opponent. Alves doesn’t want that so I suspect he’ll keep it standing & score a TKO.

Welterweight Fight: Albert Hitchenfrog (14-10-1) vs. “Iq Wrestler” Kazushi Sakuraba (19-10)

Analysis: In the Welterweight division, Albert Hitchenfrog takes on Kazushi Sakuraba. In Albert’s last fight with Jim Carlo, he utilized his excellent clinch game & striking to seal the deal en route a unanimous decision victory. An excellent MT fighter, Albert possess brutal knees & elbows which he has been very successful with in his past wins but he will need more than that if he’s going to stop “the ip wrestler”. Kazushi Sakuraba has looked excellent before signing with CCoR but it seems his performance within the organization has suffered quite a bit. So far he is 0-3 but he has been exciting in defeat. Hopefully Sakuraba can string together at least a win or two or else he could be on his way out. Albert Hitchenfrog has the skills to make it loss #4 but I wouldn’t count Sakuraba out yet! Win or lose we are guaranteed a great fight by both these men!

Prediction: Albert Hitchenfrog takes everything Kazushi dishes out & eventually gets his infamous clinch locked in where he will brutalize the Japanese fighter!

Heavyweight Fight: Les “The Bondi Beach Bad Boy” Norton (18-10-1) vs. “Snake” Jake the (14-13-1)

Analysis: Our lone heavyweight fight pits two bruisers against one another as Les Norton goes head-to-head with Jake The. Before we begin, I’m almost positive he was either in a rush making his name or mis-read the fighter creation form. Don’t worry, it’s happened to all of us…but I digress. Les comes into this fight looking to put himself back on the win column after his unanimous decision loss to John Jane. A lot of people thought he should have won that fight which is why he received a spot on this televised card. This time he’ll get the opportunity to show the world what he can do. Against Jake The, Les will have his hands full! The man’s name may draw question marks but his fighting abilities sure don’t. Just 2 fights ago, he tore through his opponent in just 2:30 of round 1 with a triangle/armbar; talk about impressive! In his last fight, he came up short against tough vet Brad Charyak, another fighter you could see here in CCoR. I see this fight being a back and forth war that will definitely be nominee for fight of the night award!

Prediction:  This is going to be a striking war with Les coming out on top. It may be quick, it may be a long drawn out battle, but one things for sure. You will get your monies worth!

Middleweight Fight: Myles O’Donnell ( 5-0) vs. Jade Malikai (8-8)

Analysis: Finally, we present a middleweight matchup between Myles O’Donnell & Jade Malikai. Guys, Myles O’Donnell has looked nothing short of impressive sporting 5 wins, all finishes by KO/TKO! This guy is a finisher with tremendous striking skills. He also possesses a dangerous ground game which he has yet to showcase. Look for Myles to make waves in the division & contend for a belt. Against Jade, he’s facing an equally dangerous stand-up striker with legit ground skills. I believe this fight should have been a lot further up the card as this will be a treat for the fans to watch. This fight is underrated with two technical strikers. You don’t want to miss this one!

Prediction: I see Myles outstriking Jade in what will be a fantastic stand-up fight.  Either guy can score the finishing blow but it will be Myles who takes the honors & potential fight of the night rewards as well. I’m going to put this fight in my spoiler list!

That’s all folks! Small card with big fights! Make sure you get your tickets for CCoR: Edwards vs. Kirby! They sell out very quick! I’ll see you all tomorrow night!
