Welterweight - Iqbal "Mamute" Al Mamood Unanimous Decisioned former lightweight title challenger Hussak "Pride of house" Claw

The two got started and Al Mamood was swinging for the fences. He landed some nice strikes that cut open Claw. Soon after he took those shots, he decided it was time to take things to the ground. From there, the two exchanged submission attempts for a while, neither one really accomplishing anything. Claw was trying with some ground and pound too, but he had a hard time connecting with the slippery Al Mamood. Towards the end of the round, Al Mamood was able to reverse his bad position he landed a couple of nice shots before the round ended. The second round got started and Al Mamood looked good at the distanc eonce again. Then he decided to take things down to the ground. From there, Claw used some nice moves get on the back of Al Mamood. He didn't get the hooks in quick enough and was forced into the guard of Al Mamood. Claw was trying to wiggle out into a better position or a solid submission, while Al Mamood seemed content with throwing strikes down. Al Mamood seemed a little more effective. The third went underway, and both fighters looked exhausted. Al Mamood was throwing caution to the wind and did everything he could to end the fight. He was able to take Claw down a few times, but it appeared that neither of them really had much left in the tank. Al Mamood was able to walk away with the decision.

What's next for Iqbal? He's got a few options. There's Rhydrei Camo, Georges St. Pierre, Pranang Krampuk, and Renee Mondeux. If he's really looking for a challenge he could call out Gwyn Jones.

Middleweight - Janek "Glover" Kochanowski Unanimous Decisioned "P" Chris Bacon

Round 1 went underway, and these two warriors found themselves at the distance for the most part. Bacon seemed to show no interest in going to the ground. Meanwhile, Kochanowski was hitting his mark frequent. They hit the clinch for a breif moment, but nothing signifigant happened there. Bacon was throwing often, but it seemed as though nothing was landing. The two seemed about even at the end of the round, but Bacon was much more active in the last minute of the round. Round two saw more of the same at the distance, with both men really throwing everything that they had at each other. They met again inside the clinch, but other than a few knees from Kochanowski, nothing too signifigant happened. They went at it at until the round ended. Bacon's leg looked as though it had began to swell towards the end of the round. That looked pretty painful. The final round got started and Kochanowski looked like he had a fire lit underneath him. Both men had missed a lot, but it appeared as though Kochanowski was dealing more damage between the two. Janek walked away with the victory.

What's next for "Glover"? Given his recent 3 fight winning streak, I'd say that a fight against Lucas Rodriguez, who's last loss was to the recent champ, isn't too outrageous. Miau Subsi would test him on the ground, and a fight against BFT staple Keiji Numa would give him a great standing on where he sits in his career.

Middleweight - Former title challenger and submission specialist Gary "Take That" Barlow submitted Spartacus "The Thracian" Gladiator with an armbar at 4:42 in round 1.

Gladiator was quick to take things to the ground. From there he tried to get a better position to get off some strikes or submissions, but he found himself on his back soon after. Barlow was opening up Gladiator with strikes, and looking for submissions. Before he could get anything really signifigant off, Gladiator was able to get up. Barlow landed a few good shots after that, and quickly brought things back onto the ground. From there, he was extremely active and was able to lock in a tight armbar to takeaway the "W."

What's bext for Barlow? It's tough to say, he's really popular, but still a bit rough around the edges. I think he could take away a great win against Lee Flynn, but Joe Williams and Bennet Amparo could be entertaining fights. Ben Zanotto would be a great fight, especially since both have had history together and hold the same record.

Co-Main - Heavyweight - 4 time BFT submission of the night winner "The Warmaster" Josh Barnett KO'ed 3 time BFT submission of the night winner Frank Mir with strikes at 3:58 in round 1.

Things looked bad for Barnett early, when he got cut open by a combo from Mir early. He kept patient and took the fight fown after a sloppy takedown attempt for Mir. From there, both men looked to use their grappling for their advantage, but Barnett looked comfortable on the feet. He was landing the shots that were pretty painful looking. From there, Mir was blasted in the face until he was out cold. Great ground and pound coming from Barnett.

What's next for "The Warmaster?" I'm reallying for fights against people such as Brock Lesnar and "Big Nog" Nogueira. A fight with former champ Laguna Lunaris would really tell if he's ready for a shot at the title or not.

Main Event - Middleweight - "The Tiger" Brick Taylor Unanimous Decisioned the former champion Amir "Scorpion" Khan

Khan seemed frustrated early when he couldn't take the fight to the ground. Taylor went at Khan as hard as he could. He was landing a few shots, but nothing that really hurt Khan. The two fighters found themselves against the cage soon, with Taylor being the main initiator. Khan was taking some rough knees, but had very little responce for him. Taylor kept on the rest of the round like that. Round two got started and Khan still couldn't get the fight to the ground. It seemed like it wasn't going to happen. Khan tried to take the fight to the ground, but they instead found themselves against the cage. Taylor kept on those knees, and even had Khan on wobbly legs for a while, but Khan was seemingly able to get control of himself again. After a plethora of knees, Khan was finally able to break the clinch a get a takedown. Khan was able to pay Taylor back with a number of head shots. The round ended soon after the takedown, but man Taylor hurt Khan bad. The third round got underway, and Taylor found himself on his back again. Khan stayed on top of Taylor giving him very little room to wiggle around. Taylor was able to reverse the situation after a poor armbar attempt, but Khan stayed all over him with submission attempts. Khan was able to turn things around and got back on top. He was throwing the ground and pound knowing it was his last hope, but the round came to an end, and Taylor had done enough to beat the former champion.

What's next for Brick Taylor? Names that come to mind include another winner on tonight's main card, Gary Barlow, and a former champion in Damian Nitschke. Rodrigo De Noteboom wouldn't be too bad of a match-up either.
