Fifty SteelPenn events in Sydney! Who would have ever thought such a thing could happen? But happen it has, and the organization looks stronger than ever. Just look at this card!

Urinus Limberdinkle v Nelson Muntz for the Welterweight title
The champion will be looking for his second title defense after having come to SteelPenn Sydney, and he will have his hands completely full. The challenger has only one blemish on his record and comes in as a huge favorite with the fans. He also seems to have the advantage in the stand up. Limberdinkle will seriously impress if he hangs on to his belt.

Mikko Rourke v Myles O Donnell
The up and comer O Donnell is looking to cement his reputation as a title contender in his division. Sporting an 8-0 record he goes up against the veteran Rourke. If this fight stays standing O Donnell certainly has enough skill and power to land a big shot and end the fight early. But if it goes to the ground Rourke may pick up his fourth submission win.

Willy Biggs v Mordechai Marx
Biggs is searching for his 11th career win and 4th in a row. He has all the skills needed to obtain it against Marx. Biggs is the more skilled striker and has an advantage in wrestling as well. Marx does bring a wealth of experience into the cage though and he might be able to use it to sneak out a win.

Tony Hunt v Jim Tags
Speaking on a purely personal level, this sort of fight is my favorite to watch. Hunt has an advantage in the stand up, and should be able to get a win if he can keep Tags at a distance. Tags has clear advantages in wrestling and in jiu jitzu though, and if he can slip in and get Hunt on the mat, the fight will almost certainly go his way.

Trent Quo Titan Kirbs v Jake The
Kirbs is 6-0 and looking to show that it has been no fluke. He’s going up against Jake, a man with much experience and a nice mix in terms of how his wins have come. Jake is the definition of a fighter who knows how to game plan and it’ll be interesting to see how he tries to handle Kirbs.

Baby Blue v King Destroyer
This might be the most lopsided fight of the night. Blue has a HUGE advantage in boxing, and a large advantage in Muay Thai as well. King is going to be hard pressed to keep conscious for fifteen minutes, let alone to find a way to pick up his 10th win.

Jade Malikai v Jason Sarmientino
This could be a fun fight to watch. Sarmiento has an advantage in Boxing, but if Malikai can get a grapple going the fight might not last long. Jade has a big advantage in Muay Thai and the elbows and knees may well be too much to handle.

Brande Eideann v George Steele
Eideann will be looking to keep the fight standing and work his Muay Thai game. Steele has a very slight advantage in boxing, and given his 7 KO wins he may want to go that route, but I would guess “The Animal” is going to try for takedowns and use his sizeable Jiu Jitzu advantage to get the victory via submission.

Steve Menzies v Heero Yuy
This fight is going to be an interesting one. Menzies has solid advantages in Muay Thai as well as Jiu Jitzu. However Yuy is the better wrestler and boxer. Yuy seems to typically want to work a ground and pound style, but doing so would put him at risk of submissions from Menzies. It’ll be interesting to see how the fighters game plan for this one.

Alan Corke v Lelouch Laperouge
This will be a tough fight for Corke. He has a good advantage in Muay Thai, but is glaringly behind in terms of Jiu Jitzu skill. Laperouge is also the better boxer and wrestler. Can Corke use his sky high morale to keep working and avoid a submission?
