Augustin Carmona v Beast Rage-Carmona comes in from one of the legendary Tycoon camps in all of history. His manager was manager of the year in 2011, and is considered one of the best in the whole game. He is only 4-0, but you can be assured no one is over looking him. He has already shown the ability to win any type of fight, and an special proficiency for the ground game. Rage hopes that he has gotten Carmona a little too green and that he will have the edge. He has the experience edge and a slight edge in height and weight. Hopefully that will play its roll for Rage. But he has shown a weak chin, and a lackadaisical style that has caused him to lose in many different ways as of late. Carmona will be well prepared and look for the holes in Rage’s game. This should be an interesting opening fight of the event. Odds-

Shawn Kronburger v Cory Smith- The second bout of the 2MDT tournament begins with an elite boxer vs Syn Euro’s own Shawn Kronburger. Smith comes in with a bunch of decision wins to his credit. He is a really tough competitor, and can score points in multiple ways. He also has 2 wins by submission, therefore he is no one to take lightly on the ground either. His manager Joshua Donavan has guaranteed to have at least one win in this million dollar tournament, after 2 first round beat downs in the last one. Kronburger says that he is comfortable right at home here in Helsinki. He thinks that this will give him an advantage. He also feels his boxing is better that Smith’s, even though Smith’s boxing reads out higher. Shawn feels his power gives him the edge. We will see this weekend. Odds-

Pete Doherty v Elijah Stoltzfuses Jr-Doherty comes in as one of the better BJJ guys in the whole tournament. He arrives in Helsinki with 14 wins by submission and hopes to make it 20 by the time he gets his 2 million dollars. However, don’t think Doherty is only a BJJ guy. He has plenty of striking to mix in and make for one of the most well rounded games in the whole tournament. With wins over guys like Alpha Male, Tor Nansen, and Sinhue Egyptian Doherty is a force to be reckoned with in the tourney. Oddly enough he pulled antoher well rounded guy in round 1. Elijah competed well in the last million dollar tourney in Helsinki, and he expects an even better showing this time around. He again has pulled a tough opponent, so we wil have to see how that plays out. Odds-
-245
Pete Doherty
v Elijah Stoltzfuses Jr

Bill Pitsenbarger v Chris Mullen-What an interesting fight in terms of name value. If you haven’t heard the story of Bill Pitsenbarger, you should seriously google it. Manny passed it along to me, and it is a wonderful story about an American hero. Bill comes in hoping to become a rich American hero. He has already become a HOFer in GFC, where he has ran off 6 wins, 5 of which were for the belt, and 3 of which earned him OTN honors. This man wins awards in every thin he does. Will he become the 2 million dollar winner as well? Chris Mullen, not to be confused with the white Dream Teamer, is looking to get his name in the bright lights. He has just missed a couple chances with close losses to Clint Lomax and Brian Peppers. Mullen feels the tourney many be his best way to become a Tycoon legend. He hopes to use his small guy speed to pick apart the bigger opponents. Odds-

Clark Kent v Matt Murdock-Two super heros face off in one of the more interesting fights on the card. Matt Murdock is the first blind contestant to ever fight in a million dollar tourney. He is looking to use his heightened other senses to his advantage, and fight his way through the competition. He will try to use his echolocation abilities to seek out his opponent, and smash him with his awesome fight skills. However, he is facingthe Man of Steel! By the time Murdock’s echolocation retruns to him, Kent may already be unleaching a barrage of strikes that Murdock would never see coming. Kent claims that he will easily dispatch of Murdock, and move one step closer to his 2 Million Dollars, which he says he will use to buy a better costume for his alter ego. Kent claims his Ma and Paw on the farm requested it. They are tired of being embarassed around town. This should be an interesting triple sensational showdown! Odds-

Karl Denke v Areli Durga-This is quite a match up. The #2 seed in the tourney faces off vs. one of the most intersting contestants in the whole tourney. The big question everyone is whispering is, “Can Ethan Downs do it again?” The answer seems no at this point, having pulled such a big time talent for round 1, but if he pulls off the win here, those whispers will become shouts! Durga feels that he can match the awesome run of camp mate Budo Rei, and says that he is ready to prove it. Althoguh he is confident, he may have to hope for help from the new changes to pull offf such a magnificient upset. Denke laughs at the idea of Durga havng a shot. Denke claims that Durga doesn’t have the hiddens of Rei, and shouldn’t even be allowed in the same camp. Denke has called for a first round KO of his much younger opponent. Denke is confident, but he does come in as the biggest favorite in MDT history. Odds-
-400
Karl Denke

Marcelino Landry v Sunny Supernova-This is one of the better match ups in the first round in any of the 4 brackets. Landry and Supernova have each carved out a niche in their respective orgs. Landry has dominated Blitz Reach in Hilo. He has run off a 14-3 record in the org. and become one of the bigger names in all of Hilo at WW. Landry expects to use his power to get to Supernovas chin, and move on to round 2. Supernova, although never listig out as a granite chin, has proven that it is pretty damn close. He has never been KOed, and has fought some of the best talent in the world. He too shows a ton of punching power, KOing 14 men in his career, and hope to make it 15 this weekend. With tons of power on disply, and no KOs ever, this fight has the makings of someones KO cherry getting popped, and popped brutally!!! These two Blitz beasts have set out to become rich and famous. One will move on further in the tourney, the other will go home a loser. Which one will it be? Odds-
+182
Marcelino Landry
v Sunny Supernova

Pat McDermot v Gjergj Kastrioti-Gjergj has already been trounced in the last MDT, and Pat claims that this time around will be no different. Side bets and trash talk have set the stage for one of the most anticipated fights on the card. McDermot claims that he will KO Gjergj brutally. McDermot is probably one of the favorties to win it all. He is as formidable as any fighter in the tournament. His striking skills and KO power make him a force in the aggressive Tycoon era. Gjregj’s manager Fman claims he will not be denied in the tournament, and says he will win the 2 million. Gjregj has taken a more reasonable approach and stated, “I expect a tough fight, but I expect to win.” Fman has compared Kastrioti to the hype sensation Kid Torres. He feels Gjregj will be his next Torres. At the expo this week Kid Torres arrived with Gjregj and claimed that he sat out of the tournament so that it would not be two guys from the same camp at the finals, ruining the tournament. Torres then worked out with Gjregj before heading back to the hotel in his limo with plates that read “No 1.” Will Gjergj be the next Kid Torres? Will he be McDermot’s next KO victim? Will we hear the end of it if Fman wins? FIND OUT THIS WEEKEND!!!! Odds-

Pikku Nakarainen v Richard Teixeira- Headlining the card BankRupt has given away an awesome superfight for the fans. The Lil Terror has become a legend in the 135 division. After wins over Charles Babbage and Brian Pepper, LT has become a cult hero on the forums. He has been considered one of the best at the weight class in Tycoon history, and he brings his legend to the Syn Euro cage to face one of the most promising young fighters in Tycoon history. Pikku has been 2 weight class champion for over a Tycoon year, and pulled off his greatest win yet by tapping BJJ sensation and 2011 sub of the year winner Jealous Jarvae at the million dollar final. The win put him in the discussion for one of the best submission fighters in Tycoon history, and may have been the biggest submission in Tycoon history, at least a leader for sub of the year early on. Pikku has won 8 title fights and 6 OTN (5 SOTN) awards to his credit. This one should be quite a war, and the winner will go on to continue his legacy as a Tycoon legend. Odds-
