Welcome back to Heavyweight Prize fighting after a great week of holidays I hope everyone got exactly what they wanted under the tree, or at least their kids did in my case. My kids are happy and my wallet is sad so now the late days and hard overtime will commence. Meanwhile our fighters and their families are delighted or depressed to see the man of their house knock out a foe or be knocked out. HWP has a rematch we have waited for. King vs Vice once more about to tango again for ALL of the bragging rights.

Brian King will look to enjoy his last fight of the year but santa didnt leave him any good presents under the tree as he will take on Miami Vice again. After the first bout ended in a majority draw where both fighters looked dominant at times and equally as weak they had us begging for more and when we received it we werent satisfied. Expecting fifteen minutes of action we received 3 minutes of Miami Vice's domination followed by a takedown and head strikes that made a grown man beg for some help from the referee. Before King went into his sequels with Vice, he had two losses and a win leading up to it while Vice as we all know was undefeated passing every test like a Valedictorian looking for a Grade Point Average higher than a 6. Vice Began his career with his most effective and impressive victory against Ralph Barcinas and he has NOT been less exciting at any other point in his career. I will look for this fight to be the fight of the night, and also, another ensuing rematch, especially if King pulls the victory.

The Great White Ygor Savage is like a shark that smells blood when hes in the cage and working for a knockout, he has finished half of his fights and he is not in fear of fighting anyone. He always looks for a test and will not run away from any fight offer. He will square off against the second coming of Jesus Mendes and let me tell you. This “second coming” will come with the popular statement that he shouldve never been born. He boasts a 27-13 MMA record but he has lost his last 5 fights and went from being a superstar fighter to just an average joe. I believe if he loses this fight he will admit he isnt the messiah and will change his name to “Hay-Zeus.” Outweighed by over a hundred pounds and looking to get the fight to the ground is just not the ideal situation to go into a fight after a five fight skid, but nevertheless he is looking to prove everyone wrong, I just dont think the Savage is willing to allow that to happen in the cage saturday night. It is very notable that to add with the 120lb deficit that Mendes is fighting at, he has NEVER one a fight by a knockout. Pillow fists are no the typical weapon that defeats Ygor and I dont see it happening this weekend.

Nutshot I quit will take on Extra bacon and when I say that im not talking about two big women and a skinny man on an explicit internet video. Im speaking of the fighters, Cro Copout standing in against Vince Dixon. Our traditional superheavyweight fight will bring over 550lbs into the cage and it will not be leaning in either direction. Cro Copout has repeatedly tried to win over the respect of the fans as he admits he cried his way out of his fight with Overeem and claimed groin shots was the reason. He wont be trying to find a way out of this one unless somehow he ends up on the ground and on his back. Vince Dixon will have to find a prayer from Jesus Mendes and other deities to get that to happen is favor though, he WILL without a shadow of a doubt be outwrestled and unless Copout comes with a poor gameplan, he wont be able to get the fight where he wants it to be. The Copout has fought 71 times and I dont think he will have a faulty gameplan now. He will certainly look to keep the fight standing and after knocking out Silva and Fulcher I believe he has proven to have the power to put just about any opponent down for the count. Extra Bacon will pray and clinch, try a takedown and repeat and if one of those attempts works, he might be in for a great night to end the year, unfortunately I just dont see that happening.

And finally Saturday's main event will not come without who other than the champ JJ Jackson. After winning his last 4 fights, and 3 in 3 minute decisions it is clear that this guy loves the number 3. Either that or he has some place nice to go to after all of his fights. Against Ruiner Barnett he landed just enough strikes to edge him on the scorecards 10-9 and when Asshole Gracie was scheduled shockwaves around the world where heard because of the frustration. Nevertheless the fight was granted and this Asshole absolutely has only one option. Shoot for takedowns. JJ's hungry behind will look to keep on his feet and if he does go down do so with less than 10 seconds left in the fight since his purple belt is no match for Gracie's brown belt. Jackson is sitting at 18-7 and will not be losing his belt any time soon. As I mentioned, Gracie is just not the fighter to defeat him yet, but what I do see is the possibility for Jackson to score a knockout victory. There just hasnt been anyone with the chin and boxing skills to be a match for Jackson. This one will end quickly, the question is, who is next for the Toronto native?

As HWP, the matchmakers and recruiters work their hardest to get us the best action possible they have produced yet another opportunity to enjoy the violence that Heavyweight Prize fighting provides with another fun card. As the year gets closer and closer to the end, we enjoy one card after another. As I mention I hope you all had a great holiday and most of all be SAFE!
