Steel Penn Icon-Sydney is now number one!

Evil Empire - Throwdown, Fight Organization, Sydney
Company profile by Tony Rossi

Steel Penn is well known with the Tycoon community, holding a fighting or kickboxing organization in ten of the twelve Tycoon cities. There are nutrition companies, clothing companies, and gyms that trace back to Steel Penn all over the world. The Steel Penn Alliance currently has over fifty managers in the network, most of which run successful businesses. In this article I will be taking a look at one of these, a fighting organization from Sydney.

Steel Penn Icon-Sydney currently contracts one hundred and twenty six fighters and has held over eighty events. The only weight class currently not offered by Steel Penn Icon-Sydney is featherweight. SPIS also has a great kickboxing program, and has the number two pound for pound kick boxer under contract. SPIS has something to offer for every fight fan in the world.

Owner Samoa Joe has SPIS on the right track of global dominance. As of January 1, 2014 Steel Penn Icon-Sydney holds the number two spot in the world rankings amongst all other Steel Penn fight clubs trailing only the original Steel Penn-Icon which is based in Hilo. Currently they are also the number one organization in Sydney and number seventeen in the in the world. If that’s not enough to get you interested in Steel Penn Icon-Sydney, they are currently ranked number one in Sydney and the world in Kickboxing.

To get fans just a little more jacked up about one of the best ran organizations in the world, seven of the top five hundred fighters are contracted to SPIS. This includes “Lord of the Seven Towers” Lan Mandragoran who is currently ranked sixty-ninth in pound for pound and fifteenth among all heavyweights. Mandragoran has always been a popular draw, and now being apart of SPIS he is the top draw. Owner Samoa Joe knew the star power potential of Mandragoran so he booked his first fight for the heavyweight championship which Lan won by KO. He has since defended his championship twice as the main extraction of the event, and twice finished his opponents by TKO.

Speaking of finishes over seventy one percent of all the eight hundred and three fights have ended with a finish. For all the submission fanatics out there almost eighteen percent of the fights have ended by submission with retired fighter Jonny Deep holding the record with six wins by way of submission. The black belt Kirk “Shadow” Boon will be looking to tie that record on January 18th at the Sydney Superdome when he takes on fellow submission artist “Flash” Jay Garrick in a rematch from their December 21st bout that went to decision. If you are like me though you love a good knockout, and almost fifty-five percent of the fights have ended that way. Former heavyweight champion and current Heroic fighter “Johnny” John Bourne ended ten of his SPIC fights by knock out.

If you are in the business and not just a fan you should look no further than Steel Penn Icon-Sydney. Currently SPIS is recruiting fighters at bantamweight, lightweight, welterweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight to bring the best to Sydney’s best. They offer fair and frequent fights to keep the fans, fighters, and mangers all happy. There is already three big events scheduled to take place in the next eighteen days, which will showcase a lot of top talent. The kickboxing championship will be defended, as well as the bantamweight, lightweight, welterweight, and heavyweight championships will be defended.

Rather you are a fan, fighter, or manager you are going to want to be a part of the big shaker and mover in the Tycoon Network. For fans get your tickets now, and fighters and managers need to be getting their contracts now to become a part of the future top ten fighting company in the world. Also show your love and support for this great organization by picking up all of your gear from their great merchandise partner Beast Mode located in Las Vegas.
