For the second half of our exciting weekend filled with real and tycoon life events, Heavyweight Prize Fighting will attract your attention right around halftime of the Super Bowl. By this time, in my hopes, Urijah Faber will have taken the belt and fixed his title fight woes. The theme for HWP's event Sunday is “Kings arent born in castles” gives us the image of a purring cat crawling just south of a trailer, some of you may think she is searching for something else, but I say shes searching for food. Frank the Tank Flynn is starting to reach the peak of his career and feels he has plenty of good days ahead of him. “My range is as far as my eyes can see” is a quote from his walkup music when he steps into the cage to fight and in his defense, only losing 2 fights out of 30 total by KO's he does have plenty of good days ahead of him. I feel like he is favorable in this match against Grammund Rohirrim despite being a few weight classes smaller than his light heavyweight foe. He will fight at a 23cm height disadvantage and even more importantly at 70lbs lighter. While there is no true heavyweight fighter in this event, the weight difference is what HWP specializes in. Rohirrim will hope to land one major strike as his Brown belt ground game just has not shown many submission skills to this point. The Tank will have to mix it up and use a mixture of punches and kicks to keep this fight in his favor and most likely take the decision on points. Both fighters with decent records thus far will be going tooth and nail to add this win to their resume's.Heimo Hulahula always provides the fans optimum excitement here at HWP and I am wholly sure that the relationship between the Dana White of HWP and Hulahula's manager is immaculate. Before I was hired as a writer to cover HWP, I had never heard of a Hulahula character and wouldnt be too intimidated by him in the cage, but now that I have seen him fight, despite his blunder against Stakanu, I am thoroughly impressed. His victim of circumstance will join him in the cage Sunday night carrying 46 wins and 35 losses and an insurmountable amount of persistent headaches after 25 KO losses. By the name of Fedor a million ankle, as I mentioned he has carried a recordbreaking amount of wins but also a worrisome migrane. With the power that Heimo possesses I think it will be a rather short night for Fedor. The most evenly matched fight and possibly the fight of the night will come down to two versatile machinemen, The Train Manny Holt, a usual heavyweight will take on Viktor Kulakov, a middleweight veteran. When you look at the size of these two brawlers, you think, how can I see this as an evenly matched fight, but looking at their careers, both fighters are decent boxers with sub par kicking skills and both fighters do not try to get the fight to the ground. The weight advantage that Holt holds is replaced by the outstanding power Kulakov holds. While he has never been a fighter with pinpoint accuracy he throws for the “end all” nonstop. Like I said, this boxing match will pop eyes from start to finish. For the sunday main event, we will have 40lbs of weight difference between these two fighters in the cage so it will be interesting to see how the speed and conditioning will affect this bout. Geodude Graveler Golem will try to fix his 2-2 record since leaving KT behind but I dont think this fight will be an easy one for him to bounce back in as Red Foxx Fred Sanford will hop into the cage holding a weight advantage, marginal wrestling advantage and a decent Brazilian Jiu Jitsu edge. I was interested in seeing how Red Foxx would perform when I first met him and 5 losses later he posted his first win in just about forever, blasting Ivan Kralaiev with an uppercut and finishing him off with strikes that would make his mother cry stealing away a win and snapping his losing streak. I wouldve expected a great deal of confidence to be lost during his losing streak but instead he has always seemed very solid mentally in the cage. For that reason I think he will come into this fight with a heavy heart, and heavy hands even harder and win this fight on the ground. I would like to thank all fight fans and fellow tycooners for spending the time to read this weekends madness in Las Vegas, remember all cards will be available to bet on, including UFC 169. TO ALL ENJOY!
