No five rounder’s tonight as we do not have a title fight scheduled as of right now. That doesn’t make this card weaker than any of the others and it’s still a huge event. We have three bookies covering the fight so you will be able to get in any of your bets. Meet the Future will be running the merchandise as always, and we have an action packed event so everyone will have a great time. Well the ten people who lose fights tonight might not have a great time but you get the picture.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Felix "The KING" Cruz (3-6) {0-2} versus "The Real O.G." Ragnar Lothbrok (1-1) {1-1}

Cruz is on a slump and his record clearly reflects it. He is one and three in his last four fights and he lost both of his fights in Honor by getting knocked out in under a minute. He will need to protect his weak chin and somehow get this fight to the ground. The Real O.G. is one and one and he is a great grappler. I think he will be only using his wrestling as a defense in this one as he is the far better striker. When it comes to stand up Lothbrok is on another planet compared to Cruz. I think this fight will end like Cruz’s last few so I got The Real O.G. winning by knockout in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

King Pin (1-3) {1-2} versus Coors "Silver Bullet" Light (2-3-1) {1-3-1}

Pin got his first win in his last fight I know he would love to be able to expand on it. He dosnt have a push over in his next bout so it won’t be easy. For Pin to be successful he is going to need to keep this fight standing at all costs. Light is well rounded and he can use that to his advantage. Even though he will be dominated in the standup he will have an overwhelming advantage on the ground. Light is also coming off a win that he got by decision but his other win came by submission so he knows the ground work. I think Light will be able to get this fight to the ground so I got him to win by submission in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Diego "Firefox ak" Nunes (18-13) {1-2} versus Alexi "Angry divorce child" Kint (3-4) {0-1}

Nunes is a well-rounded fighter that loves to go to the judges. He will point strike and grapple to grind out wins at all costs. In his thirty one fights he has been to the judges nineteen times. Fourteen of those ended in his favor so he is pretty good at pointing people out. Kint is younger, faster, stronger, and more skilled than Nunes. Even though he is also a well-rounded fighter he does lean more towards the ground and with his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu I am not surprised. Kint also seems to like going to the jusges as four of his seven fights have ended in their hands. I think Nunes wins this fight by decision because of his experience.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Jack Pot (12-6) {0-0} versus Buzz "Mad Dog" Sawyer (4-3) {0-0}

Pot seems like such a good fighter, which makes me wonder why he was dropped from his previous manager. He is currently twelve and six with ten wins by submission showing off his black belt skills. He won his last fight but that was an incredibly long time ago so he could be rusty. Sawyer is on a three fight losing streak where he was knocked out or TKO’ed in all three of them. This boxer and wrestler will have his hands full with Pot but I don’t think he we need to worry about getting knocked out. He will need to make sure he can keep the fight standing but Pot just seems like he is way too good to get all of his take downs stuffed. I am taking Pot to win by submission in the first round in this one.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

"The Viking" Agnar Gorm (7-3) {2-3} versus Greg Roddy (3-2) {3-1}

I know you guys know how much I like Gorm, and honestly I wish he could get everything back on track and become that dominated light heavyweight that I know he can be. Gorm will want to get this fight to the ground and not allow it to turn into a slugfest. Roddy is three and one in Honor and he has won his last three fights by knockout. He does have a little wrestling and he will need to use that to keep this fight standing and if he is successful he will be looking at another knockout win. This is a tough fight to call but if Gorm can withstand the initial flurry I think he will win by TKO in the second round and that’s what I am calling.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Bruce Lee (4-3) {3-3} versus Takeshi Watanabe (7-6) {0-2}

Lee is a gifted striker who will punch, kick, knee, or elbow he doesn’t care. He will mix it up in and out of the clinch and he is always looking for that knockout blow. Lee is three and one in his last four fights with all of those wins coming by TKO or KO. Watanabe is seven and six and two of the loses came in his first two fights in HFC. He is a striker that can ground and pound but much like Lee he wants to stand and strike. Watanabe is the older, more experienced fighter, and more skilled fighter but I think Lee has the intangibles. So I am picking Lee to win by TKO in the second round.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Jean Descharme (18-9) {0-0} versus Oberyn "Steel" Martell (12-5) {1-0}

Descharme is a thirty year old twenty seven fight veteran from Canada. He has battled his way to Vegas and he hopes to get his career back on track with his debut in Honor Fighting Championship. He was the last champion at Maple Leaf Fighting but when they closed he has been one and one but he wants to go on another streak. Martell is a highly skilled fighter that has been with a ton of different managers. That could be a real bad sign but then again it could mean nothing. He won his debut in Honor and is looking to climb up the welterweight ladder. I think Martell will win this fight because of his chin by knockout in the third round.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Dom "Dueces Wild" Danky (22-12-1) versus Kaito "Tsunami" Rin (17-6) {0-0}

Danky is a well-rounded fighter who loves to take his fights to the final bell. He has had thirty five fights in his career and twenty two of them have gone to the judges. He has fourteen wins by decision and his other eight wins have come by TKO. He will need to keep this fight standing in order to be able to take it to the bell. Rin is a world class wrestler and he is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He will be trying to get this fight to the ground and avoid all striking from the standing position to get a win. With how good of a wrestler Rin is he should be able to get this fight to the ground without a problem. I got Rin winning by submission in the second round.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

"LHE" Albert Anastasia (13-4) {1-1} versus "Scandinavian Nightmare" Rolad Kjeldsson (12-5) {1-0}

I love Lord High Executioner and I was sad from him to take the loss in his last fight. In this one he will want to keep the fight standing since he will have a great advantage in the striking. He has thirteen wins and nine of them have come by knockout so he loves to strike. Kjeldsson is twelve and five and a majority of his wins have also come by TKO. He can stand and box but he is an excellent wrestler and he loves the ground and pound. If he can put LHE on his back he will get this win. I don’t think he will get the takedown so I am picking LHE to win by TKO in the second round.

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Thomas Boothe (23-7) {0-0} versus "Wittertainment" Mayo Kermode (18-9) {1-0}

Boothe is a stud. In his thirty career fights he has twenty three wins with twenty one knockouts. His other two wins have come by decision and all seven of his losses have been by decision. That is right Boothe has never been finished which will put added pressure on his opponent. Kermode is eighteen and nine and one and o in Honor. Thirteen of his wins have come by TKO but in a much different way than Boothe. Kermode would much rather just ground and pound his opponent than stand and strike. I don’t think Kermode will be able to get Boothe down to the mat so I am picking Boothe to win by knockout in the first round.

Like I said no title fights but just as exciting. I can’t wait for the Honor Fighting Championship debut of Thomas Boothe. Thanks for reading and I will see all you HFC fans for the review of this awesome event.
