Event Preview: HONOR Wednesday Warfare XV
HONOR Fighting Championship

Author:

  Two big title fights coming up on this event which promises to be a great one. This could be one of if not the best lineup of fights that a Wednesday Warfare has had. I am excited to see all the fights that this card has to offer.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Dallas "Haneous" Riley (29-24) {3-3} versus Jack "The Tank" Harris (4-3) {2-2}

This will be a rematch from a few weeks ago and to be honest I don’t see a different result coming. Riley is young and he has a lot of experience while Harris is close to the same age he doesn’t even have ten fights yet. Harris could surprise me and pull of the upset as his upside is much better than Riley’s. Both of these guys are hungry for a win though and they would love to elevate them self to the next level in Honor Fighting Championship.

Prediction: Riley wins by decision

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Dario "All-in" Sakara (2-1) {1-0} versus Oscralo "Granalo" De Santiuya (7-6) {4-4}

Sakara is one and o in HFC and he is looking to pick up another win in this one. To do so he will need to find a way to get this fight to the ground so he can use his Jiu Jitsu to take over the fight. Dario does have some stand up skill but not a ton. De Santiuya has had a ton of fights thirty for his career and eight fights in Honor. He is four and four in HFC and he has had two title fights at two different weight classes. He has made a return to the Welterweight division and he is looking to get back near the top with a win tonight.

Prediction: Sakara wins by submission in round number 3

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Quagmire "Ohh" Yeah (4-1) {4-0} versus Flash "Light" Gordon (3-3) {2-1}

Yeah has been a force to be reckoned with here in HFC. He has a four and o record in HFC and every one of those wins have come by submission. He will be looking to get this fight to the ground so he can start working his submission attempts and end this one early. Gordon started off hot in HFC winning his first two fights but he was defeated in his last bout. He will now be looking to get back on his winning ways but to do so he will need to keep this fight standing. Gordon does have decent wrestling but this twenty seven year old will struggle wrestling and grappling with Yeah.

Prediction: Yeah wins by submission in round number 2

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Sun "Kakarot" Wukong (7-3) {5-2} versus Austin "Hollywood" Worner (19-21) {3-5}

Wukong has impressed me more and more with each of his fights. I don’t recall liking him a whole lot when he got here but I now find myself looking forward to his fights. He is taking on a very experienced fighter in this one so he will need more than just skill to win this one, as he will need a great game plan to go with. Worner has had little success and his lack of training is what is holding him back. At this age I wouldn’t suggest going to the top notch gym and working out with coaches but a new gym is needed if he wants to try and grab that ring of success in the twilight of his career.

Prediction: Wukong wins by TKO in round number 2

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Jonathan "The Cheetah" Mvungi (8-6) {1-2} versus Boris JorJovsky (13-6) {0-0}

Mvungi has amazing stand up and decent wrestling but that has not translated into wins for him. He is currently eight and six record and the only way he can improve on that tonight is by keeping this fight standing. JorJovsky is a top notch wrestler and he is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He will look to get this fight to the ground as quickly as possible and if he does he will despose of Mvungi quickly.

Prediction: JorJovsky wins by submission in round number 2

Main Card Bout Number 1- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Jean Descharme (19-9) {1-0} versus "Mangeur de bine" Adelard Desormeaux (17-18) {3-1}

Jean has had one fight in Honor and he got a big win. He can submit you, he can ground and pound you, and he can stand and bang. He prefers to mix his game up but he can go to whatever he has the advantage. Desormeaux is three and one in Honor and it seems that he may have found a home. He is seventeen and eighteen in his career but he has won seventy five percent of his fights in Honor. He will be looking to keep on his winning ways but he is at a great disadvantage in training in this one.

Prediction: Descharme wins by TKO in round 2

Main Card Bout Number 2- Light Heavyweight Title Fight (205lbs)

Drazen Kadoic (27-16) {2-0} versus Mari "Smoke" Juana (10-3) {3-0}

Both of these fighters are undefeated in Honor Fighting Championship. Kadoic is two and o and he got this fight by defeating Bret Riverboat. He is a top notch striker and he will look to keep it standing with his great wrestling. Juana earned this title shot with a three fight winning streak where two fights where won by submissions and one fight by TKO. Juana can do just about everything on the ground but his stand up is not on the same level as Kadoic. Mari has to get this fight to the ground or he will last less than a minute.

Prediction: Kadoic wins by TKO in round number 1

Main Card Bout Number 3 – Middleweight Title Fight (185lbs)

Kshitij Singh Negi (13-4) {3-2} versus Arshnoor "THE BRUTALIZER" Singh (9-2) {4-1}

This should be a great fight between these two. Negi was once managed by the same person who manages Singh now. Negi may have a new manager but his weaknesses should be the same as they are now. Negi will need to show up with some new tricks. Singh will be looking to mix up his kicks and punches to keep Negi off balance. We have seen how dangerous his kicks are and as of lately he has been punching and kicking at a top notch level as well. One thing is known for sure somebody will get knocked out.

Prediction: Singh wins by TKO in round number 2

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

"Wittertainment" Mayo Kermode (19-10) {2-1} versus Roope Latvala (11-3) {0-0}

Kermode has a lot of wins by TKO but as of lately he has been taking fights to judges. Both of his wins in HFC have come by decision and he will be looking to get to win number twenty by any means necessary. I am sure he would like to get back to knocking guys out but I am sure he will take another decision win. Latvala will be making his HFC debut in this fight. He is currently eleven and three and eight of his wins have come by TKO. He will look to go toe to toe with Kermode and that should cause some major electricity.

Prediction: Kermode wins by TKO in round number 3

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Kevin "THE ALMIGHTY" Garnett (32-16-2) {0-0} versus "Kansas City Hooligan " Richard Hickock (25-15-2) {2-0}

Garnett will be making his debut to HFC and he has a monster across form him. Garnett has had a lot more fights than Hickock and he will need to use that to his advantage. Hickock has looked great since signing with HFC and he is currently two and o. If he wins and resigns his contract I can’t see why he wouldn’t get a title shot. Richard will have a slight advantage in the stand up and he will need to take advantage in that department. Both of these fighters are great fighters and this could go in any direction.

Prediction: Hickock wins by TKO in round number 3
