VCC23
Dundee vs Goodman
Dundee, one of the greats of the VCC franchise entered this, his sixth time representing the organisation off the back of his first ever loss.

Dundee has previously proven himself as a long-term stalwart of the franchise ever since his debut in VCC, with an initial unbeaten streak which only ended when challenging for the VCC Welterweight championship when he suffered a defeat to the infamous Rhust.

In stark contrast to this wealth of Vanquish Combat Club experience, this fight is Goodmans debut in the growing Sydney franchise.

He entered the fight on the back of a two fight win streak. Goodman also brings to this fight dominance in all areas of the fight.

Goodman soon put Dundee out of his misery with a first round kneebar. Before Goodman was able to successfully execute the fight finishing lock, Dundee had a number of failed striking attempts. Missing with numerous head strikes and defensive ground and pound actions. Overall making for what was arguably a dramatic yet uncompetitive main event.

Fatton vs Vanderhose
Not long ago Fatton was facing retirement, his manager contemplating letting him go with a record of 1 win 1 loss and a terrible habit of bleeding all over the cage and his training partners for weeks following his fights. However, the threat of unemployment obviously scared the big boned heavyweight into action, having now won four consecutive fights.

His most recent victim was Casper Vanderhose, a real hardy warrior, who doesnt blink twice before stepping into the ring with any man.

Talking of VCC legends, Vanderhose is one of VCCs true heroes having battled it out in VCC 1 and still going now in VCC 23. With a grand total of three wins and two losses in his VCC career.

Unfortunately for Vanderhose he succumbed to a sweet shot from Fatton, causing him to stumble to the ground here he was met by a tirade of strikes from the strong striker, Fatton.

Bustinchapssup vs Stark
Bustinchapsup is undoubtablly one of the most under rated fighters in the MMA Tycooniverse. With skills which enable him to dominate his opponents, no matter who they are. The 26 year old Irishman entered the fight with a record of one win and one loss in Vanquish competition.
His opponent Stark has a mixed record, entering into the battle with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses. All in VCC competition.
Bustinchapps up was able to dominate all three rounds of the bout, causing the demise of Stark to continue further. Whilst on the other hand rising Bustinchapsup, increasing his viewership and raising him closer to the levels of hype and popularity which he deserves.

Lynch vs Mason
A draw! Once in a blue moon do we see two fighters so evenly matched that even the judges are unable to split the two. But I am sure that we can all agree these fights often make the best viewing, as well as causing a lot of controversy with both parties believing their fighting should be named the victor.
Lynch yet another survivor from VCC 1 has had a long career here at Vanquish, being a valued asset to the organisation. He faced Mason, who first fought in VCC9. The two fighters had met before, in VCC14 where Mason was able to claim victory via unanimous decision.

Mason was able to land the majority of the points scoring shots whilst stood up, as well as in the clinch. However, Lynch was able to dictate the terms of the fight, regularly moving the fight from clinch, to stand up to ground. Lynch was less active on the ground however was able to land the lions share of the scoring shots whilst the fight was on the mat.

The judges were all unable to agree on a decision with one judge scoring each of the fighters to have won by one point, and the third scoring a draw. Hopefully the two gladiators will have the opportunity to resolve their differences in an upcoming event.
