Infinity MW Tournament Rd.1 Preview

Event Preview: Infinity: MW Title Tourny Rd 1
Infinity (240K&260K)
2016-01-16, Helsinki, Hard Knocks - Helsinki
Author:Justin Credible

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! Justin Credible here bringing you a preview of the Infinity Middleweight Tournament!

After losing their former Middleweight champion to another company, Infinity is hosting their top 8 middleweights and giving them a chance to be crowned Champion of the 185lb division. As a huge fan of tournaments I am excited bring you this preview.

First fight in the tournament is Jordan “Brooklyn Brawler” Belfort taking on Raizer Sorrow both men are 9-3 and a known for their power. Both men are self-proclaimed “Street Fighters” and are coming off of hard fought wins in their last contests.

Raizer Sorrow has a back story worthy of a lifetime special, having his parents leave him to come home from school to an empty house, with just a note telling him to be strong. He’s learned self-resilience and self-confidence, and is one hard sum’ of a bitch to knockout. He was on a 7 fight win streak before a “stop happy, idiot of a ref” (his words not mine) ruined it with an early stoppage. He’s looking to win this one, to spite his dead-beat parents.

Jordan Belfort earned his nickname by becoming the toughest kid on the block at age 13. He trained in boxing and wrestling early on, and then became fascinated by Muay Thai. He’s on a two fight win streak with both wins coming by way of brutal knockout. He said, “I’m glad I drew his name in this tournament, now I get to leave him out cold, just like his parents did.” I’m sure Sorrow isn’t taking his comments to kindly. I can’t wait for this one, but if it comes down to it, I’m taking Jordan Belfort to win a hard fought decision.

Next fight brings us Harland Sanders V.S. Mary Jane Rottencrotch!

This one is an intriguing match-up, both men are stand-up fighters with a combined 13 KO’s between them. Rottencrotch came into Infinity with a ton of hype behind him, falling just short of a title in his last fight, he’s vowed to never come up short in a big fight ever again. With only 2 blemishes on his record he plans on keeping it that way saying, “I’m gonna beat that blonde headed fruit basket senseless.

You don’t know pain the way I do, try having a first name of Mary Jane, and the last name Rottencrotch, its fucking tough!” Harland Sanders is a 26 year old wild child with a knack for exciting fights, he is under new management and currently is enjoying a 3 fight win streak. Having knocked out his last 3 opponents (2 at 170lbs) he feels rejuvenated and ready to bring home a title. “I know this is going to a long tough journey but I’m confident in my ability to overcome adversity and win.” This one is going to be exciting, and should produce a great show of those in attendance (including myself). I’m going with Harland Sanders in this one.

Our 3rd fight, and Co-Main Event of the evening has us watching Gustav Slayer and Psycho Russell do battle.

The battle tested 11 fight veteran Psycho Russell has 7 wins, all by KO and 4 defeats. He earned his name by the way he fights, he has never gone to the judges. He’s an A-List movie star also, after being discovered back in his days of being a military warrant officer. He’s been juggling training and filming his upcoming movie, “Machine Gun Killer Clowns From Azteca 4” which I cannot wait for! Gustav Slayer is a popular fighter with an undefeated record of 6-0, he has also never been to the judges (or the third round).

After going 3-0 in the Imperial promotion he decided to try his luck in the Middleweight tournament in hopes of holding a title at the tender age of 26 years old. Slayer has said, “The only thing I love more than booties and pizza is knocking fools heads in yo!” Which should scare people, because pizza and booty are pretty damn amazing. That’s why I’m picking Gustav Slayer to win this one.

Our Main Event and final tournament fight is Michael Carter Williams V.S. Nathan Cortez!

Nathan Cortez is a former title holder and 21 fight veteran. He’s known for his slick submission game and sturdy chin. He’s popular with the fans, for his fighting style and slick bravado. Michael Carter Williams is a 2 time MH MW Champion and is the only fighter to finish Jean Claude Patrick in his MMA career.

He is tough as nails fighter with fists full of dynamite. He was an international boxing champion who flawlessly crossed over to MMA. He’s a gritty fighter with a nasty attitude and brutal fighting style. These men are familiar with each other as they’ve split a pair of fights already, and are quite ready to finish this trilogy. This is a perfect time for that, winner will move on to the second round. I’m taking MCW in this one.

One thing is for sure, this tournament is sure to bring fireworks. Justin Credible, OUT!
