The CFA centre was abuzz tonight and has been all week with the news that the CFA Organisation was up for sale and a deal had quickly been struck for a changing of the guard. In attendance is the new Manager/Owner of the CFA Sensei Sins who had proclaimed his hopes for a growth of the organisations and sent out the message for all too quickly voice any concerns or misgivings that may be felt. Along with the changeover come the announcement that the reviews will now be condensed and a very brief overview of the fight as per new ownership requirements.

265+ lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds Allisda Fatista (3-1) v Georg Prime (4-2)
With a dominant performance Fatista didn’t let Prime in with a chance using his superior takedowns to get in and get the job done with a submission victory before Prime could perform a single technique. Winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Allisda Fatista in 1:52 round 1 and going to 4-1.  
     
170 lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds Jason Bashor (4-3) v Leopold Stotch (4-2)
Being cut and rocked in round 1 Bashor regrouped in round two by getting the fight to the ground and with his second submission in attempt in the fight Stotch was caught sleeping and before you knew it was literally sleeping as Bashor pulled of a come from behind victory. Winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jason Bashor after 0:45 of round 2 and going to 5-3.

205 lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds Derp the Troller (4-3) v Mattize Grovinsky (3-1)     With some quick and decisive power Troller was never in with a chance as Grovinsky unleashed some power strikes from the outset cutting Troller within seconds, having him virtually out on his feet and then dropping him like a sack of potatoes. Winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mattize Grovinsky after 0:21 of round 1 and going to 4-1.

185 lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds Zach Pressnell (2-0) v Sebastien Bartings (2-0)    With both fighters mirroring each other in their game plan and neither having felt a loss the edge went to Bartings in all rounds with a decisive ability to finish his takedowns and squeak on a win by scoring on the judges’ cards in all rounds. Winner by unanimous decision. Sebastien Bartings and going to 3-0.

185 lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds Ronnie Castillo (3-2) v Clinton Barton (2-2) Getting man handled in the clinch Barton was in serious trouble until on his seventh attempt he pulled guard and quickly dominated the ground with a quick finish by submission. Winner by way of Submission (Triangle) Clinton Barton after 1:51 of round 1 and going to 3-2.


170 lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds Ben Penties (4-5) v Ian Roberts (2-1)    Showing the dominance in the stand up and power of his takedowns Roberts was cruising towards a resounding win until he went to the ground one to many times and was out performed by Penties while fighting off his back managed to work his way into a winning position as he sealed a triangle half way through round 2. Winner by way of Submission (Triangle) Ben Penties after 2:50 of round 2 and goes to 5-5.

170 lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds Chras Watsky (1-3) v Alex Campbell (0-0)   Watsky welcomed Campbell to the CFA by shutting down everything he has to offer and then with a takedown proceeded in landing 13 unanswered ground strikes causing Campbell to relent and tap out rather than continue to get hit. Winner by way of Submission (Strikes) Chras Watsky 3:58 of round 1 and going to 2-3.

170 lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds Ben Gordon (1-0) v Dexter Heisenberg (1-0)    With a resounding stand up battle Heisenberg was throwing punches in bunches with twice as many thrown at Gordon than he was receiving. However after a serious cut in round one was getting worse with another direct hit in round 2 Heisenberg bloody and looking close to a stoppage landed a combination that rocked Gordon. Heisenberg swarmed his rocked opponent and had him tapping in no time to again stop the strikes and his face. Winner by way of Submission (Strikes) Dexter Heisenberg 1:58 of round 2 and going to 2-0.

170 lbs. 3 x 5 Minute Rounds King Hit (2-4) v Buhawi Jack (2-1)     Suffering a serious cut and a close call as he was rocked Hit stuck out a stand up war with Jack as he avoided every kick directed at him but was also up against great defence from Jack as the fight went the distance and left in the hand of the judges. But converting more strikes and making his opponent look like a bloody mess the Winner by unanimous decision was Buhawi Jack as he went to 3-1.
