Main Event - Middleweight Title - Gomer Pyle vs Igor Glozman Gomer Pyle,The number one ranked Middleweight in the world,Will lock horns for the second time against Igor "Pure Evil" Glozman.I for one cannot wait for this one.For those of you who missed the first fight The General snatched an early one with a quick armbar and retained his belt. You know Glozman will still be sore about that one and be looking to show the world he is the better man.Glozman has regained some momentum after crushing Abe Goldman in a third round TKO,So he has some steam comming into this fight.Pyle will be looking to extend his three fight win streak hear and his confidence is sky high.He has flattened his last three oppenents with only Maximus Scott surviving the first round. Pyle is a great wrestler who posseses world class boxing and freakish flexibility,he is also the owner of a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In other words he is the complete package and is capable of ending a fight at any moment. He prefers to look to lock in a submission with 8 of his 19 wins by tap out but has TNT in both hands and is no slouch with his muay thai. There is a reason he is the number 1 middleweight in the world Igor Glozman is an impressive fighter without question. He is a sensational wrestler with world class muay thai skills. He is very handy on the ground and seems to have limitless cardio. With an solid resume he has KO'ed 26 of the 30 men he has bested in the octagon,So you have to think he will be looking to add the 27th scalp to his belt in this one Prediction:The result of this fight could go any way on any given night. Both fighters are battle hardened warriors with more than enough skills across the board.Glozman will come to fight but i am going to go with The General this time.I can feel a TKO in the air by the second round
Co Main Event - Lightweight Title - Mr Green vs Johan Herberg When Lightweight champion Mr Green made his MMA debut he made a big splash winning his first 6 fights.Since then he has steadily climbed the ladder. He is now a two time lightweight title holder and widely regarded as a top guy at 155lbs.With Sensational boxing skills and a strong muay thai game his stand up skills are respected throughout IMMA and 10 of his 23 wins have come by (T)KO.His real strengh is his ground game. His world class wrestling skills enable him to take a fight to the ground and keep it there,And his black belt means he can just as easily make you tap as turn out your lights Standing across from him,Possibly his toughest challenge yet is the popular Johan Herberg.Herberg's record matches up well. His physical ability is superb. His excellent boxing and muay thai have seen him score an impressive 15 (T)KO's and his superior flexibility enables him to land big kicks and throw bombs from angles. He has a solid ground game and is he proud owner of a submission of the night award.excluding a majority draw against Rashad Jackson (who he TKO'ed in the next fight) he has won his last 14 fights.Nobody has a good time fighting Herberg Prediction:A very tough fight to call.I can see both fighters unleashing hell in this fight. My head tells me to back the champ, but there is a little voice in the back of my head telling me Herberg is my man.I will say come fight night we will be crowning a new champion with a Herberg TKO
Max Sliders vs Klas Micropop In his first 7 fights Max Sliders was a beast,I mean a monster.TKO after TKO.Recently his hunger seems to come and go.He looked great against Naksuttava Puimakone, but in his last fight Arnie Ironz wanted it more.If the Sliders of those first 7 fights turns up,You are going to get KO'ed Klas Micropop has a more than respectable history.17 (T)KO's and 3 submissions,In 30 fights he has only been knocked out 5 times.Coming off a 3 fight losing streak Micropop will be punching HARD and swinging for the chin.At 28 he still has a lot of fight left in him Prediction:PAIN.I am not sure who but someone is getting knocked out.Heads Sliders,Tails Micropop. It's tails,I guess it is Micropop
Johann Joensen v VinniJay Acunia "Stallion" Johann Joensen,One word can sum this guy up.Sensational.Boxing Sensational,Muay Thai Sensational,Wrestling Sensational. This former champion's knowledge of fighting is enough to keep any fighter up at night. At first glance his record of 22-17-0 may not seem up with the best of them, but trust me this man has the ability to end any fight from anywhere. If the stallion relly wants the win,He is going to win In 23 fights VinniJay Acunia has lost 4,but he has never been BEATEN,All his losses by way of the judges decision.Striking, grappling, submissions,This guy has it all.The only thing that bothers me about VinniJay is he has no nickname. If his manager Zeb Zab is reading may i suggest "The Total Package" Prediction:I would find it tough finding two more equally matched fighters on this entire card.I think the only way to make a call in this one is to look at the records.Acunia has 3 wins,1 draw and 1 loss in his last 5 fights.Joensen has 2 wins and 3 losses.Based on that i am backing VinniJay,Second round KO
Johnny Chan vs Vlad The Impaler After flattening Chino Bandito and stealing a close split decision from Sinuhe Egyptian,Johnny "The Oriental Express" Chan is speeding full steam ahead through the rankings of IMMA.His world class boxing and exceptional muay thai have seen him knock out 16 of his 34 opponents.Although he is yet to get a win via submission his purple belt in bjj means he is more than capable,He just enjoys knocking people out Son of the dragon,He breathes fire.Vlad The Impaler stormed on to the MMA scene. After winning two of his first 3 fights he won his next 8 fights,5 of those by (T)KO.We have seen a few shaky performances recently,Winning only 1 of his last 5 fights, but Vlad has exceptional knowledge in all areas of MMA.It is only a matter of time before the son of the dragon breaths fire again Prediction:Although Vlad has shown huge amounts of promise and some truly dominant performances I think Chan's experience gives him the edge here.I say this train keeps a rollin'.The Oriental Express by decision
