.png) Hello everyone and this is the IFC FN 1 event preview we are jsut about an hour away from IFC FN 1!
Ippo Nobunaga(2-0, ranked #1 vs Andre Jackson(0-0 ranked #6)
I really love this fight especially it opening up the card this is gonna be an all out grappling war! Both fighters have very good wrestling with solid muay thai, although Ippo does have the bjj advantage with a brown belt while Jackson has a blue belt, Jackson is still very dangerous on the ground as he has the wrestling advantage. I expect this to be very back and forth on the ground and I can't wait for this matchup!
MY PREDICTION: Ippo Nobunaga attempts a lot of subs until finally in round 2 he locks it in and wins!
Jose Munoz(0-0 Not ranked) vs Kalvin Jules(0-0 Not ranked)
This is a solid fight as well, 2 unranked 0-0 Middleweights fighting on the 2nd fight of IFC FN 1. Jules has the massive boxing advantage while Munoz has the slight Muay Thai and bjj advantage with a purple belt and has a massive advantage in the wrestling department. This fight should be pretty solid not the best fight but still a good fight overall.
MY PREDICTION: Kalvin Jules starts very fast and gets a quick TKO in the first 2 minutes!
Johnathan Maddison(0-0 Not ranked) vs Benson Thatch(0-0 Not ranked)
This is another decent fight with another 2 unranked 0-0 fighters this time we're down in the Lightweight division.Benson Thatch has a giant wrestling advantage while Maddison has the slight Muay Thai and pretty big BJJ advantage with a purple belt, and the boxing is the exact same. I expect this fight to stay on the ground the whole fight long and have some pretty solid scrambles.
MY PREDICTION:Johnathan Maddison uses his solid MT kicks and bjj to get a 30-27 UD win!
James Mcintyre(0-0 ranked #10) vs Corey Andrews(0-0 ranked #8)
We got some more fighters making their debuts this time they're ranked #10 and #8 perspectively, and this time it is at Welterweight.Mcintyre has a HUGE BJJ advantage with a Brown belt while Andrews has a white belt, meanwhile Andrews has the slight edge in Muay Thai, but the wrestling and boxing is the exact same. Andrews will have the advantage on the feet while Mcintyre has the advantage on the ground.
MY PREDICTION: James Mcintyre will get taken down early on but then he'll get a sub in mid round 1.
Commie Hunter(6-3 ranked #2) vs Dougie Mcfistface(4-1 ranked #3)
Next we have our co main event and we're still at Welterweight! This time we have top 3 contenders both 6-3 and 4-1 perspectivley and making their IFC debuts! Hunter has a massive advantage in the boxing, big advantage in muay thai, slight advantage in the wrestling, and a moderate advantage in the BJJ with a brown belt while Mcfistface has a purple belt. This is also IFC's first and only(for now) 5 round non title co main event because the occassion was just too big and good to not have a 5 round co main event!
MY PREDICTION: I don't see any way Commie loses this, I got Hunter by 1st Round TKO!
Spanky Loco(13-11 Champion) vs John C Reilly(23-5 ranked #1)
Now we end off the main event at 170 still but this time with a HUGE title fight! This is such an incredible fight and is a possible Fight of the year contender! The BJJ is the same with both having a black belt! While Reilly BARELY has the slight advantage in wrestling, Muay Thai, and Boxing but don't sleep on Loco because while he is 13-11 he's foguth amazing competetion and has only been ko'd twice in his career! I am so excited for this fight and can't wait for it, and they have a combined 39 finishes in 36 pro wins!
MY PREDICTION: This fight is so razor close but I gotta give the edge to John C Reilly as he has an advantage in wrestling, Muay Thai, and boxing but it's still close! I got Reilly by 4th round TKO!
