Hello out there to all our Sucker Punch fans! Hare Rumpler here along with my pal and colleague, Donkey “Dan” and we’re about to take a quick look back at our best one yet! SPPS 98 took place earlier this week and for the first time ever we were in Tokyo at the humungous, the exciting, the granddaddy of all arenas in the east…the Tokyo Bowl!
And make no mistake, SPPS 98 was easily our highest rated event to date coming in at a whopping 658.87 event rating and while we didn’t stay there long it moved us up into the 5th rated org in the MMAT universe for a day or two! We’re ranked 6th now, and I do expect that to bounce around for a bit as we work to gain some consistency while we build up in our unrestrained, unrestricted endeavors!
It certainly helped that this event featured not, one, but TWO outstanding title fights for the Middleweight and Light Heavyweight belts here at Sucker Punch. Plus a ton of other highly hyped and rated fights. There was only a single decision on the entire evening, so yes, our boys came out to put play and put on a show! Surprisingly, no submissions. All TKO’s and a single KO outside that one decision on the evening! Wow!
Now, as always, let’s get a quick word first about our merchandise partner and sponsor and then jump into each fight from the other night in a bit more detail!
When you think about training your fighters, one of the biggest concerns is keeping them in the gym and actively training, am I right? And you can’t do that if they have to be stopping to recover and rest for sessions here and sessions there! That is why you need to visit our sponsor, Shadow Warrior Nutrition, and specifically grab some of their Shadow Warrior Tea 160Q. It is literally the best energy loss reduction supplement money can buy and will keep your fighter in the gym training rather than sitting days out resting! Stop on over there today, you will NOT be disappointed!
Now, let's get to it! The full review is now up here for all!
