Sucker Punch Pro Series 102 - Event Preview Complete

Event Preview: Sucker Punch Pro Series 102
Sucker Punch Pro Series (390K)
2021-12-15, Tokyo, Tokyo Bowl
Author:Hare Rumpler

Hello again Sucker Punch fans!  All three sections of the preview for SPPS 102 are now up on the forums for your enjoyment!

As always, I’m Hare Rumpler and once again I’ll be joined by Donkey “Dan”, my buddy and analyst here, as we get ourselves ready for SPPS 102!  And with SPPS 102 we return back to our main stomping grounds over in the east as we’ll be at the Tokyo Bowl for this mid-week fiasco.  At this point it should be fairly obvious that while Sucker Punch Pro Series is based out of Sydney we’ll be doing most of our events in the bigger venues going forward.  That means we’ll regularly be in the Tokyo Bowl, the LA Memorial Coliseum and even occasionally at the Wombley in London if Highland, GAMMA, SFL, CFC and SMASH will ever share!  Boy they have a thing for London! Haha.  That said, we ARE going to sneak over to the Wombley for a little Groundhog Day action on February 2nd as we make our debut locally for our European fans!

Also, did you folks see the amazing results from SPPS 101?!?  Woooooooo!  Yeah baby, not only did we get a great rating…granted, not as high as we did at SPPS 100…but we did it without as much loss, actually, almost no loss on this one…and still maintained a great spot for ourselves, our fans…and most of all, you guys, our managers and fighters! We may make this thing happen after all with the big move forward…trust me, I’m giving it my all for you folks, I truly am!

But enough about all that stuff! You fine folks didn’t come here to hear about something that’s a month and a half away or already happened last week, didja?  Nah, you came here to hear about all the nut-cracking, low-blow, cheap shot action you might see tomorrow night in Tokyo!  Well, to run straight to the top, you can expect the Welterweight division to be spotlighted in this one as our Main Event of the evening will be the Championship fight between reigning, defending champ Darry Curtis and returning, former SPPS Welterweight champ Konrad Wagner!  Wagner also held the belt over at CMMA right through his exit so he’s definitely going to bring an interesting and new challenge to Curtis this evening.

We also have two other Welterweight bouts lined up for you in Tokyo, all in the final six fights, so again, plenty of great action in that division that will play into the division’s future going forward!  Opening the night though we’ll get straight into the Middlweights with back to back fights there as well as a third contest to open up the Main Card.  That fight, a battle between Luka Marka and Derek Patterson, is sure to have an impact upon those looking to rise up the ranks going forward at Middleweight!

And tonight is NOT the night to be late or skip over the Undercard while you tailgate outside or drink at the stands with your buddies, at least not if you’re a fan of the BIG BOY fights like I am!  Our third and fourth fights of the night feature Wrecks versus Zurauskas followed by Powell and ole Sabre Tooth himself, Mills!  I love the clash of the behemoths as you guys know and always look forward to those fights as the ones that may bring some brilliant finishes!

Throw in a pair of Featherweight bouts in the Main Card to top things off, including a showdown between Mickey Dismantle and Michael Aalto in the Co-Main Event that will have very near-term impacts upon future top contender status in the division, and you’ve got a huge night of action on tap tomorrow!

So there we go!  Boom!  Are you ready for some big time action in Tokyo tomorrow night?!?  Donkey and I are!  And we’re going to take a quick break here while we get some words in about our amazing sponsor and merchandise partner...and we go finish gathering our thoughts.  We'll be back at you later today with some detailed insight into each of our ten upcoming fights!

Our fantastic and respected sponsor is Shadow Warrior Nutrition!   Many of you already know them as the providers of Shadow Warrior Tea 160Q., THE energy loss reduction supplements!  For those of you who aren’t in the know on that, you should be, because this is the way you keep your fighter training more often and not taking sessions off to try to keep his energy above 90%!  If you aren’t using this supplement, hurry over and check them out today, you will not be disappointed!

Enjoy, the sections are all here:
