The Main Event

Wagner vs. Aleksy

Next Sunday sees the return of one of the most terrifying men to the arena in a bout for the Sucker Punch Welterweight Title.  ‘Dr Drillfist’ Konrad Wagner will face up against Tytus Aleksy.  The former dentist has a paper thin advantage on the feet against Aleksy.  Wagner, on a three fight streak, will look to work behind his jab and chop at Aleksy’s lead leg.  Tytus Aleksy, also on a three fight streak has a tendency to fight in similar fashion, but has shown a deeper level of comfort on the ground.  Wagner is the naturally heavier man, with a 10 cm height advantage should find himself with his hand raised at the end of the evening.

Our Pick - Konrad Wagner to win by decision(1.82)

The Co-Main Event

In the co-main event sees part-time journalist Chip Nickel 20-9-0 come up against Jacob Parker 13-6-0.  Nickel, a BJJ purple belt will likely try to keep the fight standing and avoid tangling with Parker’s BJJ.  Reliant on body kicks, Nickel will likely face a stalemate on his feet.  Parker, the younger man, could win the fight if he keeps the fight on the ground.

Our Pick - Jacob Parker to win by TKO in round three(1.75)
