        DMMA 98  Preview

Hello again fight fans, it's your old pal "Juicy" Douchey McBaggins, ready to unleash another fawesome weekend of Mixed Martial Arts. We head back to the H20 Arean for Back-to-back nights. Last weekend was full of Violence and gory fun for the whole damn Family and this one just seems to be bigger and better. This weekend we have two Heavy Hitting Heavyweight Main Events, which will kick off with the DMMA98  headliner for the Dynasty HW title. The champ Andrei Kersikov welcomes his first title defense against a former title challenger taking another crack in Jason Hightower. DMMA 99 will be stacked with two Main Events in my opinion as the Co-Main will see Xylon Kofel return for his fourth Title Defense as he meets top contender Aubrey Grant. Finally rounding out this spectacular weekend, we will see former Heavyweight Champion Bento Barboza take on a guy currently riding a 6 fight win streak in Pete Tyler. So many big DMMA names will be in London this weekend, for what could be the biggest weekend in promotional History.  Tonight I will be covering Saturdays DMMA 98 Event!       Prelims   265 Joshua Floyd vs Klaus Tannenbaum 205 Angus MacDoughall vs Ruben Flijers 265 Zdeno Chara vs Javon Reese 205 Dimebag Abbot vs Kill Shot Jackson 155 Galen Dall Jr vs Dmitri Kersikov   Main Card   Light Heavyweight   Devonte Pinks vs Nate DeBramalo   "The War Cat" Devonte Pinks, a two time Light Heavyweight title challenger will kick of the main card, and coming off a Split Decision loss I suspect this big cat will have a fire in his eyes for this one. Pinks has a very notable win over the current champion at 205, and he did it in quite dominant fashion, knocking out Camaras Account early in round two of there bout back at DMMA 52. Other then Former champ Charles Tucker, Pinks has been all that his Opponents could handle and more. His opposition this weekend will be a returning fighter from the Philippine's, Nate DeBramalo. DeBramalo had one fight here way back at DMMA 7, and now under new Management this 5-1 fighter has a huge opportunity to shake some things up as he meets Pinks.    Light Heavyweight    Paavali Kontiainen vs Pinina Zhikova   Staying in the 205 class we will next see former Finnish basketball legend Paavali Kontiainen , who has now converted to a full-time career in MMA, not too shabby for a 25-year-old. Paavali has had a roller coaster ride with consistency as of late, going 2-2 since moving down from Heavyweight.  His two wins though have been insanely impressive though, both garnering "Fight of the Night" Bonuses, and both ending late in round three with Highlight reel Finishes. He will collide with Ukraine's Pinina Zhikova who is starting to find his grove in the division. A winner of his Last two fights by Unanimous Decision, Zhikova is now 5-5-1 at DMMA. This proud Ukrainian fighter has a notable Submission victory over current #1 contender Constantin Niculescu and a total of 5 Submission wins in all.   Middleweight    Rectal Thermometer vs Eric Distefano   Rectal Thermometer has been serving up some temperature checks for some time now here at Dynasty, but as expected sometimes there hot and sometimes there cold. Now 6-3 in the promotion, it's been a bumpy road as of late after starting out with a 3-fight win streak. That 3-0 streak was cemented with a title winning performance back at DMMA 36, this former champ is one of those that can make or break you in this sport, so be prepared. His opponent is no stranger to championships either though, that is former Blaze Middleweight champion, Eric Distefano.  Eric has recently changed camps and Managers but rest ashore this Italian dissented, New Yorker is a banger.  Out of his ten wins, all have been stopped by KO or TKO. The only downfall to this is he tends to throw caution to the wind often. He may want to rethink that process or there could be some Rectal checking coming his way, and he won't like it. Or will he?       CO-Main Event   Light Heavyweight   Charles Tucker vs Brock Hardman   For the DMMA Co- Main, we will head back to the 205 pounders and one of the very best will be here looking for redemption after a two-fight skid. That man is none other than DMMA Hall of Famer Charles "Trip" Tucker, who started his pro career off with a jaw shattering 14 straight wins. 13 of those where TKO or Ko wins. This guys credentials speak for them self, Cali MMA  champion check, Dynasty MMA champion check,  14 straight wins check, Dynasty Hall of fame check. At 25 we will have to just wait and see what the future brings this blessed man next. As for now though he will be looking to get himself back in that title picture here at Dynasty MMA. To do so though he will need to get through a guy who seems to be getting his career on track finally, and that man is Brock Hardman. Brock is now 7-7 as a pro, but 2-0 in his most recent fights.  That includes a Majority Decision verdict over Kill Shot Jackson at DMMA 78. If Hardman can pull this one off, all the hard work and dedication has been paid off in full. Sure there is no title on the line, but Tucker is a Bona fide Hall of Famer.   Main Event   Heavyweight Championship   Andrei Kersikov vs Jason Hightower   We will conclude this masterpiece of an event in the best way imaginable, and that is a World Heavyweight Champioship showdown. First lets take a look at the  challenger, Jason Hightower. A native of El Paso,Texas, Hightower burst onto the fight scene as a Kickboxing prospect for the highly toted VKT Heavyweight Grand Prix. As a Kickboxer Jason has a impeccable 13-1 record and was a former HW champion for AKF. Knowing where the real money is though, Hightower new he would one day convert to MMA and he did so in spectacular fashion winning a World Championship in his very first fight. That fight was against a well known former champion here at DMMA as well, and the same guy who recently gave Jason his first MMA loss in Bento Barboza. This two men now are 1-1 against one another in MMA(Jason also holds a KT UD over Barboza) and surely there will be a rubber match in the future. There is no doubt that there is unfinished business with Jason and Barboza. There is another guy who currently is the man to beat though and that is Ukraine's Pride and Joy Andrei Kersikov. Kersikov won the DMMA HW championship from said guy who gave Hightower his first MMA loss, Bento Barboza. Andrei won that fight in Dominant fashion as well by first round TKO. Andrei looks to have all the tools to become one hell of a Heavyweight, and with 6 straight dominant wins, the sky is the limit. This Saturday at the H20 Arena you will not want to miss this one, as Kersikov makes his first Title Defense, and Jason Hightower looks to become the King of the Dynasty Mountain.   Stay tuned DMMA 99 Preview to come................. For now, though this Is the Honorable Douche T McBaggins, signing off!!!!
