 Welcome to our look forward at the mid-week event which, as usual, will take place in Tokyo tonight folks! SPPS 152 is coming at you and this will be a quick preview as I’ve been under the weather for the past two days. No titles on the line tonight, just ten great, energized matches that are sure to leave our Sucker Punch faithful craving more!
The big fights tonight will include not one, not two, but THREE Welterweight contests to close out the evening! Jinx and Jones will be featured in a Main Event that will determine the next challenger for the title Wagner and Lankinen have had it out on June 12th. The Co-Main Event featuring Rahman and Matsuzaka will determine the final member of a Top Contender battle against the waiting Darry Curtis, a matchup that will ultimately determine a contender for the belt sometime around late July. And Sinclair versus Aleksy will move one of those two just a bit closer to Top Contender territory in the future as well if they can keep the winning going!
Another Welterweight contest between Lee and Martin will be the second fight of the evening but outside those four total Welterweight contests, and a single Featherweight bout between Joseph and Wright that should be one of the better fights of the evening, you’ll get a bunch of the heavier divisions going on with three Light Heavyweight contests on tap and a pair of the big boy’s going at it as well!
