Event Preview: Sucker Punch Pro Series 162
Sucker Punch Pro Series

Author:Hare Rumpler

Welcome back again Sucker Punch faithful as we get set to take on SPPS 162 in just a few short hours!  Hare Rumpler here along with my buddy and analyst, Donkey “Dan”, and we’re all set out here in Los Angeles for a great evening of fights and a card that is jam packed with goodness!

Before we move on too far, I want to be sure you’ve all had a chance to check out the first episode of “The Lawrence Minute” as presented by Diavolo, our new writer, on the forums! If you haven’t, be sure to do so as he had none other than current Sucker Punch Pro Series Lightweight champ, Mister Mediocre, in the studio for a quick Q&A leading up to the fight tonight! Great stuff!

This card, as I hinted at, has just about everything an MMA fan could want! I mean, when you close out the UNDERCARD portion with Featherweights like Aalto and Petersson along with Lightweight action with Sukulaku and Itzpapafee-fi-fo-fum…well, you know that the card as a whole is a monster!  Those may be “little” guys, but they’re big names baby!

TWO…not one…but TWO big championship fights on the docket tonight in the Main Events!  Furioto comes into the cage to challenge Mister Mediocre for the Lightweight title in the Co-Main and then we get the hard hitting (understatement of the year) Kiryu Kazuma defending his Middleweight strap against a tough as nails challenger in Chip Nickel!  Oooooh yeah, this is how we bring it SPPS peeps!

There’s a ton more in between but let’s just grab a word from our sponsor and merchandise partner here and then jump into detailed discussion for each contest this evening!

Do you find that you’re resting your fighters too often? Two, three, maybe even 4 times a week sometimes?  If that’s the case, you’re probably not supplementing their training, and if you are I’m thinking you’re not doing it with Shadow Warrior Tea 160Q, which is Shadow Warrior Nutrition’s outstanding energy loss reduction supplement.  It’s the best money can buy and will keep your fighter in the gym training rather than sitting days out resting!  Stop on over there today, you will NOT be disappointed!

Now, let's get to it! The preview is now up, enjoy!
